Meep. Time for my two creds worth 
I think of Swords(woman in my case) and I think of Samurai. (I'm in the process of collecting RIS components to complete that effect) That would mean more Katana-like swords that a swordsman is not only quick to attack with but also accurate and capable of demolishing foes in one or two heavy damage attacks - battles between two samurai would never last more than a few minutes unless the samurai were evenly matched in skill imo - the more skilled warrior needs only one hit to inflict a mortal wound.. This would fit for PvP i think - I would like to see the introduction of a "critical strike" that does far greater damage (and incurs bleeds/wounds/states) than normal IF it hits. I'm not sure that 2handed swordsmen are mindless swingers of huge weapons - Samurai were very spirtual and focused - the fearlessness and disregard for any damage taken during battle comes from this inner calm and the knowledge that IF they die in battle they have had a good death. I would like to see a more swordsman-specific CoB - possibly a meditate/powerboost thing that instead of increasing HAMs like TKM, increases defensive mods/mitigation and accuracy - as a representation of the inner calm gained by this pre-battle contemplation.
On the weapons front - Tanto, Wakizashi and Katana were the traditional weapons of the Samurai, different attack range/power/speed/damage/AP possibilities right there - Make the Katana heavy AP and a little slower, Wakizashi more balanced and Tanto relatively weak but very fast and with a higher critical attack rate.

the only probably i hav that i havnt seen discussed is teh 2h damage mod... i have +15 and it does nothing atm please raise that issue =)

I Like the vision. I like teh fact that u are suggesting that as HEAVY SWORDSMEN we are the damage dealers. Not always the fastest, not always the least hit, but the one that pounds the beastie to the floor. And we need AP3 to fulfull that role.

i love it gabe, i dont want to be able to tank anything in this game, i want to be a DPS machine, and we most deffinately need an ap3 weopon, i would love to see an ap3 ice or heat sword, or even a big beastly kinetic sword
guys think of it this way, defenses can be compensated for, but pure dps is far rarer. i like to be taht guy in the group that when things get in trouble i go crazy and just start dropping stuff, would love a berzerk 3 in the master box that would let you use specials, maybe even give you a 50% bonus, therefore amking a ph ap3

damn i really want it now, ice sword or a "ice axe" even tho i know you guys dont want an axe, and since only one other profession does cold damage ona useless weopon, what more definition do you guys want lol
what do you guys think about it?

yeah, like a Chiss war blade ors omething (their capital planet is covered in ice)
i think it needs to be slow as hell tho, so it is like, a true masters weopon
would like to see similar stats to a t21, maybe a little slower
if you guys give me some ideas i can work in photoshop on one and we can submit it

humm about 7 speed 350-500 dmg ap 3
have it like a crystal look oh here this is a 1 handed weapon in the .tre files that no dev or csr seams to know about here look
