BTW Rifleman only have 3 damage types stun,acid and energy so there is alot they cant kill on high lvl npcs. now pistoleers have the most of any non-elite prof with energy,acid,stun,kinetic,heat. The only one better is BH who have access to every type except blast but they pay for that with the sp cost and lack of defences

Rifleman have energy(laser), stun(jawa ion), heat(berserker), cold(SG82), blast(t21), and acid(Disrupter rifle).
Carbineers have energy(laser), acid(dxr6 and nyms), and heat(EE3)
Pistoleers(along with BH and commando)have Energy(Republic),Blast(Launcher/Striker...comando/bh), Heat(FWG5), acid(DX2), and stun(geno).
Tk have kinetic
Swordsman have kinetic and blast
Pikeman have kinetic and electric
Fencers have kinetic and stun
So riflemen have the most damage types, while the melee class all have the least(TK being the least).
*peers at the list of weapons* Uhm…got some inaccuracies in there.
As has been mentioned, the T21 is Energy. The Striker is Kinetic not Blastand is a Marksman weapon not Bounty Hunter. You forgot the Scatter (Acid/BH) and Tangle (Stun/Marksman). The DX2, Geonosian Sonic, and[post-nerf] Republic are Pistoleer weapons—pure Bounty Hunters and Commandos are not certified for them.
In other words…
Rifleman: Acid (DXR6b), Cold (SG82), Energy (DLT20, DLT20a, E11 Rifle, Laser Rifle, Spraystick, T21, Tusken), Stun (Jawa Ion) [NOTE: There is a Kinetic rifle, the Tusken King Rifle, which is part of the Polished Krayt Skull quest cycle. It's uncraftable and you're required to give it up to complete the quest, so I won't bother including it in the list.]
Pistoleer: Acid (DX2), Energy (D18, DH17 Pistol, DL44 [Metal], Power5, Republic, Scout, SR Combat), Heat (FWG5), Kinetic (Striker), Stun (Geonosian Sonic, Tangle)
Bounty Hunter: Acid (DXR6, Scatter), Cold (SG82), Electricity (LLC), Energy (DLT20, DLT20a, E11 [Rifle/Carbine], Laser [Rifle/Carbine], Spraystick, Tusken, D18, DH17 [Pistol/Short/Snubnose], DL44 [Metal], Power5, Scout, SR Combat), Heat (EE3, FWG5), Kinetic (Striker), Stun (Tangle, Jawa Ion)
Commando: Acid (DXR6, HAR, HAB), Blast (Launcher, RL), Cold (SG82), Electricity (LBC), Energy (DLT20, DLT20a, E11 [Rifle/Carbine], Laser [Rifle/Carbine], Spraystick, Tusken, D18, DH17 [Pistol/Short/Snubnose], DL44 [Metal], Power5, Scout, SR Combat, HPBC), Heat (EE3, FWG5, FT), Kinetic (Striker), Stun (Tangle, Jawa Ion) [NOTE: I'm not bothering to include grenades.]
Edit: A Bounty Hunter friend of mine has rightfully pointed out that if you were to remove the weapons that noone uses due to suckage from those lists, Commandos and BHs lose most of the list. Such is life.

You ain't the only one...
i also think you guys have it better than you think. Our only additional weapon EVER is a lance whos components and schematic only drop off ONE person...and she is 100% resistant to every damage a pikeman can do and not to mention 450k ham!!
Swordsman have it quite well...believe me.
