I am sorry but i am going to have to disagree with some of the previous post. I feel you are going about it the wrong way, you give up to much and get skills that really you can do without. Dizzy for example, if you have high defense to knockdown and posture down then a jedi or any other player can dizzy you all day and only a very small percent of the time will they knock you down and even when they do you almost always get up right away. Master Doctor is great for buffing yourself, but it is really not needed as much as other things; here is my suggestion for the ultimate swordsman PvP temp

Master Swordsman

Master Brawler

Fencer 0,4,0,0---Defense v. KnockDown and Posture down

Pikeman 0,0,4,0---Defense v. KnockDown and Posture down

TK 0,3,0,4---More more melee defenses

medic 2,0,4,0---can cure bleeds and use stim E's

Then you should have four points left to go into getting the speed row of combat prowess and all you need to do is add some clothing to speed cap yourself. and some stun armor is a must if you are PvPing at all. the more stun defense the merry.

I dont think that you will be dissapointed with this template, it allows you to beat any jedi knight or otherwise, but like any profession dots and poisons always hurt and can not be avoid. Also great for PvE, can cure any bleed put on by elders and the stim E's are golden i cant say enough about them, it is almost like an equilibrium for any toon.

You can have all the KD defense you want, but you'll still be easy to posture change. Take some thatkillo, and you got plenty of KD defense.

true, but you'll be missing out 2 synths with 1 thak

I'd prefer getting your def vs kd up as high as possible, and then trying to get custom thak to get you too 100

The template that i suggested also has a great deal of Posture Down defense, +110 to be exact.and if you do get them down their combat eq is high enough that they just pop right back up.Most times that i am out PvPing, the first thing they do is try to Dizzy then they will spent the next minute or so wasting time trying to get you down while you pound on them and all they have time to do is heal.(jedi)

High Kd

High Posture down

High Stun

High melee

Speed capped

Stim E's to heal yourself

PSG for the Jedi if you feel like you need one

all adds up to a PvP rating of over 1700....

I am just saying it works for me and I think other should try it. Swordsman is a great template against jedi and other melee people.
