The problems of the profession won't be apparent til later. And wow, you'll be kicking yourself. It IS an upgrade from fencer, but it still sucks. Fencer being more broken than sword doesn't make sword overpowered.
After your sword experiment, take up TK or commando and get a real eye-opener.
The ONLY brawler professions that can kill "good" rangde weapon player is a TKA!
And yes the devs must du somthing to balance the Brawler and marksman professions!!!

I have been a Swordsman since I started and no I don't think we are overpowered. We are the "tanks". That is our role. We are the guys that keep the Mobs off of the ranged players. So we need to deal out some serious damage. Otherwise what is the point of our profession.
