Just for you info the loot is going fine
On 9/15/04 at around 9:30 PST
I looted this
Clothing Attachment:
Combat Medic Experimentation +13
Got that Right after i looted 9 identical Night sister Layers with the following stats
Health Encumb -13
Action Encumb -11
Minc Encumb -19
Also looted a +5 to pistol aiming Clothing attachment in a full night of protectors and spell weavers initiates and sentinels.
Loot nerf i dont think so Bad Luck I THINK SO

Ive actually changed my mind about loot from high end mobs.
let me qualify the statement..previously i thought yes they should allways drop god loot...
Now i think they should have a chance of dropping good loot or nothing...nothing annoys me more than lookng in my inventory after see the legend " you have completely looted .." and find a cargo paocket or data disk etc...drop nothing or drop nice is what i say.
The drop rate should be rare...ive seen too many times when one mob that drops good gear gets camped by the Uber soloer or by the Uber groups...not giving a chance to anyone else. The problem is self perpetuating too...if one player is capped up the wazoo with mods and allways outdamaging other players..he gets the loot...which of course he can either use or sell to fund even more Uberness and ownage.

actually, what I am waiting for is a mob that takes 40 or more players to tackle, and I don't mean Master Marksman players, but those that have maxed their skills, equipment etc. Atm there is absolutely NO reason to group other than sologroups, which is a bit sad I think in a mmorpg. This (ie adding high end mobs) might encourage all players to work ondeveloping some more social rules (kill stealing, ninja looters etc ... I mean, hey, atm it is everyone for himself)
Add maybe something like the more people in group and in the actual area the better the loot is, or add more grp directed abilities, not only squadleader or cm (ae heals) things.
As for the drop rates, if you a really big battlegroup for the mob it should drop EVERY time. But I agree, with NS it should be something good or nothing, everyone knows the feeling of expecting something good in inv and seeing a cdef pistol drop off an ender

Been good for me latly, 2 exceptional phs, one excpetional sg82 rifle and countless crystls. Some 7% layers also. Not to mention a new mind fire pike =)
