Exactly. I am a Jedi Knight. I can beat ppl one on one, but that is more my PvP experience, not the Jedi profession. Jedi started out strong, but has been continually nerfed, mainly by the cries of people who either don't know the situation, or was like an Master Artisan/Pistols 4 who got killed.
I agree Jedi saber block could be reduced versus ranged, but need to be increased to melee.
I too am an all melee template on my main, which only took like 2 weeks tops to get. And I could also destroy my Jedi Knight with it.
I have retired my Jedi til the Combat Revamp because defense stacking is better and more fun to play at the moment.

i'm mswords/mpike/mbrawler/1 1 0 0 medic/ melee speed and acc of fs skills
i used to fight jedi as swords and they were challenging but usually had to run. so yeah i get a 950 damage vibro lance (poweredup) they cant beat me. they can barely damage me im capped on speed and i dont miss. i've duel the defense tree guys too, no luckfor them either. its funny i never thought i'd fight them as pikeman since you take so much more damage. but they can barely damage me cause they have to constantly heal cause i'm using area dizzy/stun on them, intimidate, and knock down on them. haha i've been taking it easy not using any of my dots on them, pretty sure they'd be screwed if i did. usually t hey run out of force and endduel. if a jedi stays and fights me he's gonna die unless he FRs away.
