Well, you've just gotta keep in mind that this is only a small part of the whole picture.
The goal is to change some of the ways that combat is done (and stop things like relying on mind to finally run out) but to maintain balance between the professions. That, I think, means that we will have to see a lot of positive changes to make up for the negative ones. I've received fairly good feedback that leads me to believe that our plight is recognized and the intentions are good.
I think we'll have to see this balance thing in action and then we can say whether our concerns have been met or not.

but thats one thing i dont like stgabe, intentions. i dont give a crap about intentions when im paying 15 bucks a month on a game thats sposed to work the way it ought to.
yea, this is what i get for playing a young mmorpg, but i need more than intentions, sorry. They got thousands of ppl shellin out this money and if they cant hire some more ppl or work their butt off some more to get things RIGHT, im not sure they can do anything.
but again, your the one in the know-how, and thx for for giving me at least a littl hope.
lol, this profession/game sure has changed in the past 6 or however many months...lol... been a swordsman since early august, and looking back on all that, ive actually got to say this game has gotten less fun. ill give it till my year subcrition runs out, and if it doesnt pick up some much needed content, revision, and balance by that time then im out.

Theres alway hope mr Frodo....but what are they going to do for us in return??? with our arsenal of speacials as pathetic as it is right now, after mutiple nerfs and now the next big one looming on the horizon... Its just hard to beleive they are actually going to do somthing that HELPS us... in the long run its good for the balence of evreyone else ...but us... even with new fancy sythes we are the laughing stock of the brawler elites.
To make swordsmen even viable as a combat class (especually in PvP)we have to spend ALL our points to round out our flaws, by taking medic, tka, riffles, carbines, or what have you.
They had better do som serious revamage if they expect us to want to keep perservering as underdogs beacause this is getting old.
So my predictions with publish 8 is that evreyone is going to go back to the ol TKM/M.doctor to be the next uber deathgod Flavor of the month... especually if they can heal the mind.
