What skill do you need to learn knockdown?

Ham cost on 2 hand curved, for me they are next to nil. I string special attack after special attack with barley any hit at all on the ham from the 2 hand curved. Of course starting my charecter as a wookie brawler has alot to do with the low ham cost. I have never tried the cleavers for this reason the attack speed is slower with the same damage. Im really liking the power hamer now. I bought 5 and had them all spliced by a master smugler. i had 1 with a 32% increase in speed and, 1 with 31% increase in damage. the other 3 were at 25% increase in speed or damage. I am primaly using the faster one and stringing the 2 hand hit2 together and i throw a sweep and area attack in from time to time.
