Thats what im heard from one very good as on "my server"...Havin a good armor with 12% stun +psg and u will be fine with fencers/pistoleers(ap0) most of the time....only for rifleman with jawa-ion(ap1) u´ll need a 37/40 stun-suit cuz psg´s didn´t help against ap1 weapons....

get a speed attachment that maxes you out. get a power hammer that has 700 plus without a powerup. once you have this you can destroy anyone even if they have mind buffs muon and everything else. i have a plus 25 2 handed speed bandolier and a 790 max dam power hammer without a power up. trust me in pvp it will kill anyone takes about8 secs to knock a 2500 mind down to 0 with 80%blast helmit. thx to some friends in my guild for letting me test this. as far as a jedi goes unless he is a master defender same there only faster. he will have to run off an heal himself/herself before i need to heal myself. this i tested on a guild jedi who is in the knight trials. but like i said i am capped on speed and have one hell of a power hammer.

I have pretty good luck with master rifleman/swordsman/brawler with some dabbling in fencer to stack defenses.

Wow, you just pwned yourself. Of course AP applies in PvP. Why do you think people complain about T21's doing so much damage in PvP? Why do think Jawa ion rifles do better damage than Geo pistols or stun batons?

I can guarantee it doesnt apply in pvp. T-21s do more damage when people have a low energy resist helmet on (which is true most of the time as mediocre pvpers jsut worry about kinetic and stun resists and forget about bases)
Also t-21s have a much higher damage rating on average than any other rifle weapon and its a tighter range compared to the laser rifle which allows it to bypass mitigation more so.
As for the fencer and pistoleer ap0 vs stun armour with just 12%, it may fuction correctly in this instant, but ap 1,2 and the t21's ap3 CERTAINLY dont add the correct damage multiplyers that they are suppost to vs composite armours ap1 and i can assure you of that.

Also jawa ion rifles do more damage than fencer stun battons or geno pistols for the same reason that rifleman do more damage than any other ranged class - its because the damage multipliers on their moves are much higher and the jawa ion has on average much higher stats than the other two weapons mentioned. That may just give an inclin as to why the jawa does more damage !

it applies... 40% stun 90% energy helm+65% energy 45% stun PSG and i take more damage from the T21... guess why? AP3 means they get a 50% damage bonus over my AR1. JIR doesn't get that. Stun batons and geo's have no AP, so you wont see me getting eyeshotted to death by someone with a 500 max geo as opposed to a 500 max jawa.

As awesome as swordsman is at speedcap, I still don't think it's all that great in PVP after having swordsman for half a year on one of my alts. There's only 3 good attacks I found usable in PVP and that's AOE3, headhit3 and well hardly hit3 but if you have master brawler it's lunge2. I don't see swordsman as a decent PVP profession unless you're obsessed with attacking everyone's mind pool which is getting old these days. That of course is just my opinion.
I however love this profession for its strengths in PVE.

OMG people, many of you are really misleading or misinformed... AP does apply in PVP, as long as the person is wearing armor and/or PSG.

That is an irrelevant comparrison, kinetic is usually the weakest damage type vs composite, a T21 has AP3 vs AR1 armor, think of the insane damage output a 550 max dmg T21 does on you.

It'd believable, In a base raid the other night I nailed someone for 708 dmg before resists with my 631 max powerhammer, that showed he had no melee mitigation.

Master Swords/4 4 4 0 Fencer/3 0 0 0 Doctor here. Love it,I don't see myself changing it for a long long time.
