The Devs did not put an end to soloing. You can still join a solo group and go kill mokks and janta. You won't get paid as much, but you can still go loot em.

Before we all get crazy about this...
Group up like normal
Grab 2 missions (whatever is your fancy)
Disband
Run your missions for full price
Re-Group
you can even take turns playing group leader if you're feeling really generous
any flaws in this theory??

The funny thing is, that a change in group size only effects payout in one direction.
If your group losses a person, your payout is based on the original size.
If your group gains a person, your payout is based on the new size.
I understand this is to prevent disbanding as soon as you all get your missions, but it just doesn't seem very fair.

wow people are really bent the wrong way in thinkin on this.
30k mission, 10 man group.
3k per person. Each person pulls 2 missions same direction. 20 missions x 30k. 600k/10 players 60k each. Now, since working together in a group is more benificial than not financially (ala have to be together to get the cash), then all 10 people we assume will work together. Now how long would it take 10 people to blow a janta lair? 10 seconds? 15 tops? Get this. Faster missions, with a group, and the end result is you'll get the "full" payout for your 2 missions if you help everyone with theres.
Or be a greedy bish and take 10k missions, and just run more of them.
Here's why this won't go faster:
"Hold on a sec, I need to answer the phone" :five mintues later: "Okay, back".

I believe it's already been verified on TC that this won't work, you still get only a portion of the payout even if you disband.

said so on the post, your mission payout i determined by how many in the group when the mission is accepted, and if people are out of the group or out of range that money that they would have had disappears, you still get your fraction
i think its gay, i juts spent all my money and ill be poor now

heres another idea, grab a couple of Master CHs, group up, add pets, go kill, with only 3 to four people plus pets you will get a much bigger cut

Also, with less and less money coming in, try paying maint for alot of houses/factories/harvesters at the same time, with less money, I highly doubt 9/10 crafters will even be able to keep the resource getters they have now, this leads to?
Crafters taking way more time to get the resources to make things, which equals less products, which equals an even worse off economy where you will see people freaking out about finding something that is decent that has been made with good resources. Try moving around mines at how much it costs them to keep, the power cost, and the cost of redeeding them, add it up - it's not pretty when you wont be able to get much money now.

This Sologroup Nerf will have a few affects-
I used to group up with my guild and roll across Dant. completing mission after mission and getting the divided up pot.
This would get me about 80-120k for about an hour and a half of playtime (about how long my mind buffs would last).
I then discovered Solo Groups whereI wouldearn upwards of 500k in that same time- ontop of getting a couple of crystalstoput up on the trade forums or to pocket for myself shouldI decidetosearch for that old man everyone's been talking about.
Then I would go and play with the Nightsisters and SingingMountain clan chicks.
Nowwith this nerf- I could easily go back to hunting with my guild as I did before butI have been tainted by the sologroup experience and won't find it as enjoyable as before.
Yeah, it's social but every sologroup I ever joined had a very busy chat channel.
What I will do is just start running GCW missions out ofmy guilds rebel base. Thepayout for those were always between 8 and 10k no matter if I was grouped withmyR3 unit or 18 other PCs. It won't be long before I hit Colnel.
I won't be rich- well not from missions (selling faction is going to go through the roof though)
