Every combat class needs to have a role in both PvP and PvE.

first off id like to say thank you Goreki for all the hard work on that info. i like what i read, and i also hate the fact that ive never seen a scythe. ive heard they drop off nightsisters, but how solid can that be? ive never found one, and also i cant take them on by myself so i often find myself fighting over who loots, but i dont agree that weaponsmiths should be able to craft them, sure it would make it easier to locate one, but wheres the fun in goin to a vendor and buying one aposed to slaying annpc and pulling the mysterious weapon fromits remains? i think it should just drop from lesser npc's instead of one of hardest to take out beings.


and about more variety in specials, that would be great. i would love to see what the dev's comeout with.

I would like to see the ability to wield 2 weapons at once to combat knock down and dizzy that would be sweet.

My only question ATM is

WHEN do we get the scythe?

It's the highest skilled weapon there is and I want it BADLY

For how the swordsman comes out in PvP...

Skills people skills...

I've seen a TKA take down a pistoleer

And then get owned by another pistoleer

That just had been owned by the firstpistoleer so...

First off, i would just like to say great topic!

My number one issue would have to be all of our techniques, just need them to do different things. Like our sweeps should be able to actually knockdown a target etc. The weilding of two swords would be nice. On thing i feel swordsmen should have is a sheath\animation (drawing a weapon and putting it away). Possible some type of meditation tree with different benifits that tka so that where not a carbon copy. Even thogu this isnt really need, but how bout some deathblow animations for all the classes??? that would be sweet.

You can stick this under #3... make counterattack actually inflict some damage on a successful counter. Otherwise, it is no different than Dodge.

A potential addition for a new weapon as mentioned previously would be a pair of swords. Now, this is still classed as one weapon (and one item in the inventory) but would simply be a new weapon and new animation. There would not really be any need to change the coding or anything as it is still classed as one weapon. Maybe lower damage than a powerhammer but faster speed to compensate?

Maybe I missed something but the Scythe is in game and no one has commented. I like it and use it about 50% of the time. The other half I still use power hammer.

Maybe that's because,oh I don'tknow... THIS TOPIC WAS STARTED LAST YEAR, WHEN THERE WASN'T A SCYTHE. The fact that they were asking for one should've gave you the idea to look at the dates...
