The Nameless Blade Chapter 2
Drigel was concerned about his friend.It had been two days since Frel had shown up, and he still had not fully recovered.He turned his gaze from the bed where his friend lay back to his work.Perhaps this power core was not in as bad of shape as it had first appeared.
As he worked Drigel went over the facts he knew in his head.Frel had only been able to give him a bit of information; he had been slipping in and out of consciousness.Most of his information was from the Bothan smuggler whom Frel had hired as his transport.
His friend had nearly died on Dathomir while searching for this power unit.The Bothan claimed that Frel had fallen prey to some sort of warlock.Drigel had his doubts, but the burn marks that Frel now bore did not look like they came from blasters.Before he lost consciousness Frel had demanded that the Bothan take him to Drigel’s shop on Talus.The only things Frel had on him were some supplies, his Power Hammer, an odd sword, an even odder crystal, and this corroded power core.Being a weapon smith, Drigel had taken an interest in the sword and the core that seemed to match it.
“Ah good, good!” Drigel said to himself as he toggled a switch on the power core.
“Does it work?”
Drigel spun, not expecting anyone to have heard him.
“Frel! My friend, how are you?” he asked.
“I, I’m not sure.Does the power supply work?”
Concern took Drigel again.Every time Frel awoke he asked about either the sword or the power core.“Yes friend, I had to rebuild most of it, but it does seem to work.Its power output is remarkably high for something of its size.”
“Excellent,”Frel said as he closed his eyes and laid back.“Once I have rested a bit I need to find the other pieces.Maybe you could fix up my hammer…..”Darkness overtook him again.His dreams were troubled at first, but then a familiar shape drew towards him.He did not fear this figure, as he had so many in his dreams as of late.For it was the Nameless Man.

Ok check this out ive got an idea forthe quest to get it
Heres the layout of the themepark
Layout: Instanced missions and non instanced missions
Location: Yavin Massassi Temple ( maybe a new one)
Background: Last outpost of the followers of exar kun and keepers of the ancient sith knowledge. The followers live secluded lives and await the return of their master to lead them to galactic control.
Loot: only gotten as rewards for completeing the various quest and while a single player can do all the quest it is not neccessary for the player to benefit fully from the themepark.
Inside an instanced temple with the new village thing appearing to be this way there is no reason they can't do this.
Quest Tree one:Swordsman
Quest Requirements: Master 2h swordsman
Npc locations : 300m outside of the temple, temple entrance, 1st corridor, second corridor, library, forge, and Inner sanctum
Quest locations: (in order from npc misson givers) Random spawn on yavin, sith artifact from an nearby temple (instanced), word game, test of strength (instanced room spawning a high level npc in the room only defeatable by a swordsman (maybe only vuln to blast and everything else insane 95% resist), Test of knowledge ( another word game but tougher), forge recovery of a certain blade fragmant form the catacombs underneath the temple( instanced solo) Inner sanctum recovery of the sword from the same catacomb from the corpse of a high level mob ( instanced solo)
Reward: After completion player recieves the non tradable sword and access to the blacksmith for repairs and also recieves a ceremonial blade for decoration in his house.
Quest tree two: Fencer ( they need a new toy also imm sick of seeing stun batons
)
Quest Requirements: Fencer
NPC locations: same
Quest locations: same except the test of strength which is now a fencer only completable meaning maybe stun vuln and the ar is different on the mobs to accomedate fencer lack of ap.
Reward: after completion fencer recieves a new nonm tradabel sword which is the one handed version of the 2h sword access to blacksmith and repairs.
Quest tree three: Pikeman
Quest Requirements Master pikeman
Npc: same
Quest locations: same but geared towards pikeman with electricity vuln
Reward: After completion the pikeman resieves a double bladed version of the 2h weapon and the same access and decoration.
Quest tree four: Teräs Käsi
Quest requirements: TKM
Npc: same
Quest same but lower kenetic resist higher ham
Reward a new move if possible (which i think it is i mean weaponsmiths get new schematics and abilities are given with advancement) Move would be called The Demon Rider and would be a 6x multiplier move which had a high ham cost modifier making the power be a trade off for ability to do over and over or spam if possible place a 15 sec delay on its usage but allow other moves to be used in between strikes move would have a glowing orange hand trails and place a stun intimidate and blind state on the opponent and be random ham. Tka also gets access to a robe whihc has no mods and can be worn for looks or displayed as decoration.
Quest tree five: Jedi ( if we give them their own quest they wont **edit** about ours)
Quest requirements : jedi padawan
Npcs : same
Quest same however the mob in the test of strength has force resist and lightsaber resist not high but some there is a starwars monster like this it was in knights of the old republic however ive forgotten the name,
Reward a high damage crystal and a special color crystal which both do not decay the color crystal is a specail one which the jedi can make any color they wish by tuning it access for i don't know why not and a special jedi robewhihc is cloaked and black and grey this robe has the same modifiers as padawan robes and is non tradable, jedi also recieve a statue of exar kun to display in thier house.
Quest tree six : Warrior
Quest requirements: Completion of 2 of the prior quest ( encouraging doubel mastery or rewarding players that do it each time they master)
Npc The head caretaker
Quest: The player must venture deep within the catacombs and kill a very special creature, upon returning the playe rmust then answer the mans questions wisely ( player has 3 chances or wrong guesses)
Reward: A special ring whihc allows the player to purge himself of all ailments( fires poisons bf diseases wounds and damage) once every 6 hrs or server reset this ring has unlimimited charges and is also non tradable.
Critique let me know your thoughts.
id rather have this be non equipable by anyone other than the person who recieved it, but still be tradeable
that ring tho that sounds GOOD!

i like the idea of a good sword with seksi damage but not some jedi/sith/exar kun ancient blade crapola, give use a good sword, maybe shematic lootable, qestable, parts craftable but lootable ones better, an item that a good deal of swordmen will have but only dedicated ones
so tell me what part of star wars lore woudl back you weapon, seeing as we really shoudl all be using blasters anyway since (a) swords and blades are obsolete and (b) one blaster bolt would destroy a blade if you maanaged to hit it before it killed you, the only place we have to draw from is the ancient sith stuff.

Well i see your point but let me defend myself allitle, in my design the temple is instanced so really it doesn't matter that the quest stim from the same place. There are alot of double masters so why not include them in the quest, and its the only way to get the community to accept it outside of the swordsman community.
Well I mean that the feel of the quest would be kinda odd and downed sized to me if every quest originates from the same place. I could picture a bunch of TKMs and Fencers, Pikeman and fellow swordsman running around doing the quests, kinda makes me feel part of the crowd, was kinda picturing something differant than a typical theme park is all. Now am i mistaken when saying you image instanced temple as it randomly spawns a building on Yavin which you would enter? That would work and more likely be more idealistic then what i had in mind.Which was say you speak to a NPC and he either grants you acces/teleport whatever intoyour own zonelikethe corellian Corvette. The zone would be realitivlysmalland you would the only onein it.With a area dedicated to only one PC i would think you could do more things like differant paths depending on what you do in as your progress though(Riddle or otherwise)
I just think that speaking about another professions "Elite weapon" should be posted on thier forum is all. Like Fencers are suppose to get duel weild after JTL right? So maybe there weapon would be two swords ^_^ I think ill post something about Elite weapons every brawler forum and see what there response is.
