Not to get completely off topic but I am looking forward to an overhaul if thatcan makeall combat classes different and functional. I am notvery worried about any rifleman changes, just that I hope they if they put different limits on speed theyshould overhaulmax range as well to balance it. As for melee I think that they are putting swords in the middle so they should be the least overhauled and I am pretty happy with my speed and damage.

Basiclly I am a Swordsman because CHs and Medics are abundant in my playgroup, while I am the only melee. I can get doctor buffs and let my friends pets do some tanking, and my taunt is a huge boon to the group. I know that pvp changes the picture. All I can say is HAM is not everything, there is a reason that the first level of swordsman defense give you an area attack. A whirling swordsman dervish is a strong anchor for a group to rally around when things get tough, and the defenses make me more dangerous as a rifleman, especially if I can counterattack at range.

who needs a rifle when a rancor & graulmauler has your back,

You get the picture. Or i should say you get the'point'

I wouldnt give up my master swordsman for anything.

With the combination of professions/skills that I have, there is nothing I can't plow through in PVE short of an uber uber mob. (with the aid of my pets for tanking.... I wish they'd allow us to tank better...)

I still havent lost in PVP either...

Im going to try to stay positive because changes are coming. PVP is gimped for us. I am wondering what server these PVP swordsman gods are on. I can tell you its not Bria.

im talkin about rancor that are like with nightsisters... thier isnt a pet yet thats gave me any trouble i uselly just bleed them and let them beat on me i could care less and go after other people hell i let at st's shoot at me in buildings while killing the master if you dont believe me then dont i could really give a flying **edit** if you do ... ill just stop saying anything and you sad bitches can go along losing everyday heh

as for never loosing in PvP you obviously never got lit up like a dry twig.

ATSTs are tankable, they miss me at least 75% of the time. Doctor buffs and another pc healing you go a long way, but if you have worked on high level defenses ATSTs will not kill you instantly.

I think Kendred is a lost cause, he probably fought a gurrcat or something and thought it was a rancor. I'd also say the guy who has never lost in PvP as a swordsman doesn't PvP very much.

It's pretty much all I do. I only lose to melee when I get cocky and try to fight them indoors with a rifle. Go figure.

Itry toavoid fighting in cities. If you're a swordsman, though, you basically can't PvP outside city limits. Without those buildings to protect you and help you close the distance, forget about it, you're done.

And then there's Commandos of course. Melee range is right where they want you and even if you win you'll get incap'd with huge wounds. Have to hope he misses his flame DOT.

Swords are fun and they can be good for indoor PvP but you can't PvP like I do without some kind of ranged weapon. When you're 500m from Anchorhead working on a faction mission, any BH worth anything is going to kite you to death with eyeshot.

Still, I'm optimistic about them giving melee a range of 15m for all attacks. That might make Swordsman worth keeping. I really love using my rifle and getting charged, then switching to my sword. If I could give chase and keep hitting them with my sword I'd keep it. That could work really well if the rifleman /takecover command is going to be beefed up. People will be forced to charge my position, then I stand up and whip out a sword to finish them.

We can hope.

heh pecos your on my server you wanna play? ill show you exactly why rifle sucks but ya hey i suck your exactly right no really you are.... hey pecos try sending cathryn a tell and ask her how bad i suck even ask her how her at st's do against me ive tanked them many times it takes a lucky mind shot from a at st to take me down buffed i have like 3k health and 3k action if the buffs land good i can heal for 2k with stim e's so ya keep saying i suck bitches ive killed more people in 1 week then you prolly have in since you been playing, as for bounty hunters no **edit**ing **edit** they own everyone one on one eyeshot is more powerful then any skill out thier it never misses it blinds and its fired from a fast pistol and hey if you use a dx2 i think it is... or maybe its scatter the one with the ap 1 your helm wont save you so ya keep on going on, and btw if you wanna duel bring it...

and btw lag i never said i dont lose... i do lose but i rarely lose 1 on 1 eyeshot spamming BH can take me easy and CM's are tricky i dont even faction off missions i faction off pvp for 1 missions are boring 2 i love pvp... i dont even pvp for factions actually irarely ever pvp with groups and if i do its been with V-M lately , and on the rancor ... maybe 8 seconds was to low but it doesnt take over 30 but then again i dont go around timing everything i do as for you ap ^_^ i wish you were on my server id hunt you down daily to where you had to stay covert i stay overt almost all the time inless im questing or crafting but im sure if you made a chara on chal youd make a bh ^_^ cuz any moron can spam eyeshot allday

no kendred, i would not make a bh, id build up to my current template (which isnt done, i still have some things to finish up) and work on it a little, and royally kick urass, as i know i would, o and i hope you do duel pecos, as i bet hed own u, so move on...
