Thread: Lvl 80 Master Swords, TKA, Brawler 4444, Pikeman 0440.... feeling as weak as hell.

There's your problem. Your Innate armor goes away when you equip a non-unarmed weapon. Bring up your character sheet with ctrl C. see what happens to your offense/defense stats when you equip/unequip different weapons.




Stop bringing up the misconception that wielding non unarmed loses inate armor...... its NOT because you lose inate armor for why you're taking more damage, its because you don't have TK's Unarmed defenses







Also his real problem is that his name is Titanicas ,,, i believe this speaks for it self


but on a serious note the whole unarmed thing confusing people when grouped with other melee proffesions just make me enjoy being a swords//pike even more

Not all of us are arragant asses.



I am not in the minority.



This CU will be the end of SWG if it doesn't change. I'm not the only one who thinks this.

The game has corrected one of the most broken aspects of SWG and now you complain you don't have you "I WIN" button.


Give it a rest....you'll never be able to use 80% composites and 3 hour doc buffs to solo everything ever again






exactly I agree 100%,,, the game was never meant to be a hack and slash like titanicas wanted,,, it was the 80% or 90% at times composite and doc buffs that were overpowered that gave us god mode and made it a hack and slash

This is not the way it works in game. I am a Master TKA/Swordsman and my innate armor negates almost 50% of incoming damage with a Hammer or Pike in my hand. I am not wearing any armor, so nothing else would be stopping half of the incoming damage. When I was most of the way thru TKA, but, not master, it negated roughly 1/3 of the incoming damage with a hammer in my hands. Pretty clear to me that the innate armor works with non TKA weapons equipped.

this is incorrect. I'm TKM / M. Swords and whether I'm unarmed or packing my Power Hammer while using CoB, I take the exact same hitpoints fighting lvl 82 pikets(68). And I do mean exact. The place it changes is when I'm packing my Pistol. Two problems with this. First, I cannot use CoB while holding a pistol, and two, you'll see that you'll have a pistol hinderance below your HAM which slows you down, hence you'll get harder. Actual numbers: Unarmed w/o CoB, I get hit for 158, armed with a Pistol w/o CoB, I get hit for 223.


Oh yeah, one more thing. This is fighting naked. No clothes, armor, or anything. Completely at the mercy of innate armor. It works great!

...and again, no it doesn't. Your accuracy, speed and defence skills may change because the weapon specific part of them changes. You may take more damage if your defence drops or less if it increases. Your innate armour does not "go away". Your innate armour remains at its constant level (around 6000 for TKM) as long as you don't wear armour.

just a small note on defences, could actualy mean something:


im MSM/TKM (almost 24 FS points, dunno what to get with the SP's left).


my server (farstar) is down, so had to take stats off the Kswgprofcalceditor-CU version.


TKM gets +75 unarmed defence (maybe both melee and ranged).


MSM gets +50 melee defence.


i don't know the effect on both, possibly stacking, posibly not, might be migitating, might be not.


and... to utilize the defence you need the proper weapon equiped.


but just my thought on this issue
