Right now I'm TKA/MSword/4xxx Doc, but after hearing about the Armor Break slice on armor I'm starting to have second thoughs... just got my Katarns though, so I'm gonna try them out for a while before migrating to another template.
Bit off-topic:
Regarding tactics I keep two KD timers, one for my opponents (LegSweep is on a macro that includes a 30 sec alarm timer) and one for me (a 20 sec warning timer that is activated when I used Knockdown Recovery) - this helps you never miss/waste a KD and also keeps you out of trouble action wise (10 sec. is enough to recharge enough action to do a KD Recovery).
General off-topic questions:
1)What attacks can I use to keep an opponent who has enough action for a KD Recovery stay a bit longer on the ground?
2) Isn't there some state effect that helps stopping an opponents mind or action regeneration?

I started out with Master Swords, Fencer 0400, master Doc, due to the fact that the best melee weapon available was the 1H fencer weapon from kashyyk (blade of nyerith). But lately i have changed my fencer 0400, with fencer 0004, sicne i like the action degen hit, in 1 vs 1 fights. And im using my PH which is bette rthan the 1H blade.

1) i saw your SAC was 95 on that blade with a dam PUP, i usually alway use a action pup, sice my SAC on my PH is 105 :/ But how high a SAC would you "live with"? Do you use that blade only wit your mentioned tactic ?
I have two blades both with the same slice, one I use with a damage pup as above the other SAC pup that goes down to around 67 SAC. My main weapon is the Damage one but as stated with speed buffs I run out of action in about 5 seconds of heavy hitting. If I have taken someone out with that I switch to the low SAC one to wear them down. My SAC is still enten up with the speed I have but it's alot more manageable and if I see an opening where I can switch back tot he damage one I do. I do notice when I'm using the damage and the sac pup in terms of damage and sac reduction.
PvP battles tend to require me to have short bursts as well due to be either having to tank or regen while running for an oppentent. I aginst swtich to the low SAC if action is getting eaten to quickly.
2) I like being master doc, since i like buffing people, reviving etc, but have thought about settling for doc 4004, but i dunno how my healing abilities will be ? and maybe get some TKA for better cob? any suggestions?
I was at a PvP battle yesterday I missed the rez ablitity since I could do much apart from heal, drag, buff and act as a decoy. It was furstating at times seeing people go down from incap and me typing in /tell xxxxx consent. Which I get replied "but I'm not dead... oh hang on they trippled incapped me can I get a rez" There's not that great a difference between Doctor 4000 and Master healing wise as stated on the Doctor forums. The big difference is the rez abilitiy youu get at master and the buffs lasting a little longer. Improved COB is a life saver, at that fight yester day I was getting hammered by about 3-5 rifleman at times and I was just laughing at the amounts of misses and when I did get hit I'd just heal up.IMO the base of any melee template should be TKA 0100 and DOC 4000 unless you are going th CM counter melee route.
How much do you heal with 4004 compared to master doc ?

Also i miss some more states specials, than what i allready got, maybe go for TKA 0440 ?
Currently state specials dizzy, blind and stun are broken and do not work. Would not worry about them for the now.
So how does Master swords, Doc 4004, TKA 0440, Fencer 0003 sound and will i be lvl 80 ?
Think you'll be level 79 but not posivite, you can live with being cl75+ when in a pvp group. You might have to go fencer 0004 instead if you want cl80. Check here for details.Combat level

Very nice I use the alarm in my COB to give me a general idea it's 42 seconds timer but it generaly tells me when I can and can't use KD or when to expect a KD. SOme people are too predictable

I believe warcry works, it's simliar to the startle and disam shots and panic shot.
2) Isn't there some state effect that helps stopping an opponents mind or action regeneration?
Binding Stirke and Stun effect action regen but are currently bugged and don't work. Force sap and Forcechoke are Jedi powers that also drain action and mind. (Binding STrike might not be bugged going to look into this.)

but ive been swordsman since launch, cant change now. we arent quite as powerful as we were 3 months or so ago, thank god, but yea, other professions definately need a little tune up.

In what way are the states specials broken ? dont they stick ? do they rarely stick ?
Dueling for me is not the be all and end all of pvp, in fact I don't rate dueling as pvp. I class it as sparring really.
I'm a big GCWer and I like my template for small skirmishes and large battles. The only thing I'd change would be getting master doctor for being able to rez in large battles. As it is I'm trying ot use my self as the designated dragger. I can take alot more damage then any master doctor and can go in and pull someone out to safety so they can be healed from incapped or rezed by other rezers. The other time I'm usualy running around healing buffign and take pot shots with a rifle. I have killed a ranged person one on one with my rifle simply becuase I could out heal them ![]()
When the time is right I run in with the other melee, usualy jedi, and finish people off or defend my ranged team mates if the enemy decides to charge.
