sorry i dont agree with the original post.

wanting and needing an ap3 weapon is a world of difference, akin to balance and overpowered.

Considering melee fighters, and Swords in particular, are the gods of PvP now- since they finally nerfed CM. I would rather they enhance the other melee profs and just fix the swords specials. AP3 or new damage types are begging for nerfing the profession.

As for rifles, I do think that one prof should have an AP3 weapon, the problem is the power of speed tapes- there is no FREAKIN' way that any AP3 weapon (especially a rifle) should be able to smack you 1 time per sec. I would rather they raise the speed cap than nerf the AP IMHO and make the max speed depend on the weapon equipped- TK and pistols 1 per sec/ fencers and carbines 1 att/per 2 sec/ swords 1 per 3 secs and pikes and rifles 1 per 3.5 to 4 secs. But then pipe dreams end up getting smoked by the devs anyway......

I'd be happy with a nice "sword" that at least has as good of stats as a sycthe since we are swordsman.

I'm a serious swordsman, and I'm happy with being able to solo 99.999% of the things in the game. lol. I do not agree at all with us needing a AP3 weapon ...I mean.. I can see a T21 being AP3 - its a massive sucker looks like it could one-hit a tank! Buut....I just can't invision an AP3 popsicle. Sorry.


P.S. Not that I'd complain if we got it, but then we'd just get a major nerf...Oh and if a rifleman is outdamaging me, I either group with him, or leave. Live with it

i thinka nice start to the melee professions getting a new damage is giving someone an acid weapon. its just one of those unusual damages that become usefull when you least expect it
