bah arias you know as well as i that swords/doc is gonna be the only swords pvp template after the revamp lol.
@ takami. just keep your self unintimidated (and unblinded if need be) at the beginning of the fight so they cant hit you too easily (counterattack is more than sufficient). apply all your states and then warcry or kite or knockdown (kd/dizzy if possible) and heal all the states and dots on you. then come back at your full stated opponent and destroy them. a non stated swordsman hitting on a stated opponent is not going to live long lol. 100 % damage output swordsman vs anyone= swordsman/doc victory lol.
or if you have a big dot weapon yourself go ahead and dot them if they dot you, and just heal hehe.

here is another template that is VERY good for things like large battles. you need friends (docs) as support though.
Master Swords/Master Brawler/pike 0-0-4-0/fencer 0-0-4-0/pistoleer 0-0-4-0/medic 2-0-0-0.
ranged mitigation 2
defense vs blind 110
defense vs dizzy 120
defense vs knockdown 95
defense vs posture change 50
defense vs stun 110
say bye bye to states. no tapes required. ecspecially if your zabrak like me.

Has the best combination of Defence I've ever seen. With Medic Techniques 4 you can use Quick Heal. Even though this cause major dmg to the mind, you can heal it with TKA meditation. Now, I may be wrong, but I believe Quick Heal is instant, and is not affected by the amount of Injury Treatment Speed you have. This means you have Excellent dodge + Counter attack abilitys. If you get hit, it will deal extremely low dmg. If in some situation you are low on health, you can use Quick Heal, and Meditate heals the wounds you receive.
A Few Stats: Melee Defence- 141
Ranged Defence- 119
Defence v Dizzy- 60
Defence v Knockdown- 75
Defence v Posture change Down- 60
Defence v Stun- 50
Defence v Blind- 50
Defence v Intimidate- 40
Defence Acuity- 56
Dodge- 90
CounterAttack- 110
Because of Master Brawler, this template can also use Warcry 2 and Intimidate 2. If you want to explain how this template could get any better, or a better template all together, dont hesitate to do so.
(Before you say so, this template is in no way better than a jedi template)

let me say right now, this is not a good pvp template, my battles are drawn out and i have to really be up for it too win...otehrwise i think what a waste of state/poison/fire stims and jsut lay there while the pikey does his thing
but with few alterations this can be a good pvp template i believe, and fewer alterations than u think
would like to let y'all know but well...when my alt hits the streets, you can all try and guess it then
Can anyone confirm this? I've always had 3/4/0/0 fencer and kept the first tree due to the melee/ranged def bonuses.....but i'd love to drop them in favor of some more in the pharm line. I only pvp so I need to know if my already high melee/ranged def. is useless in PvP. thx guys

Ranged def and melee def only work well against low end npcs. Wont help against other pvpers or ns etc. So better to put skill points into state defence. Cob macro will mean counterattack will stop a lot of hits anyway.
