Ya getting knocked down really isn't the problem, neither is getting dizzy. I just can't seem to damage them, I'm not sure if it's that I'm not hitting them or if I'm just not doing any damage. I'll try taking some snow cake next time. Thanks for the advice.

Ya I was going to do that after I posted the message, but my gamecard ran out and it will be awhile before I can get another, damn postal system in this country, it's too slow.

you should try finding those new stim enhancers they work good...+10 2h melee accuracy for 5 min no downer either theyre pretty handy if your not capped on accuracy with tapes, even if you are capped still nice to have

Whenever I'm getting kited by a rifleman I hit burstrun and spam lunge 2, and when it knockes them down, I use 2h hit 3 to get a dizzy on them then I just slam away with head hit three. Or you could use warcry and then run out to him and then use lunge 2, but if you don't have that you could try lunge 1 for the 15m range, or try to get within 10m and use 2h area hit 3 or sweep 2. Or if all else fails just burstrun away.

how does anyone pvp at all with 90 base armor? without dots anyway. sure i can beat a riflemen if he stands there but if he kites me im toast. any rifleman that gets beat by a swordy IMO must suck at pvp.

I actually dueled a swordsman stack, on my rifleman/tkm, if I kited him after dizzy/kd + warcry + peace he would stand run in a building. Once I got close to him he would just beat on me but get nowhere, till I switched rifles and he would do more dmg against me with rifle equipped so would go tk to regen since he didnt hit me hard enough, eventually I would have won since I got bored and started dizzy/kding him which then he ended duel because of his scythe breaking lol

A friend and I dueled yesterday. Hes a TKM w/ some doctor, and I'm a speed capped swordsman, master doctor.

We faught for nearly 30 minutes before simply giving up. He couldnt do any damage to me, and I couldnt stay on my feet long enough to do damage to him. Simply, get some good BE thakatillo, if they can't knock you down, theyre alot more vunerable to your mind attacks, even with mitigation and all the toughness.

Basically, against a kiter, it's best to use buildings to your advantage. If you aren't within about 20-25m of them, then they can probably get away. Yeah, occasionally you'll have a stalemate, with someone who's too afraid to come very close, but there's really nothing you can do there.

nah you have enough acc at master brawler, intimidate him so he won't dodge/counterattack w/e.. and with a 50% or higher potency it should only take you 2-4 hits..

using a power hammer your accuracy isnt enough. using a scythe yes.

rule of thumb against rifleman... anti-decay 35%+ energy 60%+ bas PSG, stacked mind, 38%+ stun armor helmet, 2 aa'kuan rings (and any more ranged def tapes you can get), and finally a shot of that ranged def food. 500 dmg jawas end up doing about 30 dmg. Watch out for the guys who are smart enough to use a DXR-6 though... they can hurt as they go through the PSG. Burst run, get the KD and then eat their mind.

now on TKMs... I used to be sword/CM and that would tear them up. I dropped that though for master brawler as I'm more into killing those pesky elders now than PvP. I suggest dots to be effective but if you want to have fun then just stand toe to toe and wait till someones buffs run out... lol

Or if your in some place like the graveyard, lots of rifleman get pissed when you "steal" their kryat that you have been killing for the past 10 min, just run towords them and let the kryat have at them. Good fun.
