We dont *need* AP3, but since they're giving us the Hack we may aswell push for it. I don't really want another redundant weapon.

Pikeman should do the most damage, I think that is how they intended it.

Pikes should have the highest defense since a pike is a defensive weapon, as our pole arms.

Its pretty obvious what they wanted out of the melee professions. TKA to be the speed/status/self reliant class. Focus more on different attacks than damage types. Its the average of everything class, doesn't shine in 1 area as much as the others do.


Fencer to be the nimble, hard to hit profession. The guy in every game that doesn't give or take very much damage, but his low damage is offset by accuracy.


Swordsman are the slow, cumbersome, heavy hitting profession thats easy to hit. Big blows that aren't too accurate but really sting when they land.


And pikemen are the longbladed area attacking profession that shine against multiple targets(Area KD and Dizzy attacks).

I think the power hammer should be dropped to AP1, seriously its a freakin hammer. And the Cleaver should be bumped to AP3.

And i swear to my god that if we get another Quest oriented weapon I'm gonna snap. That also goes for any more axes or hammers before a new sword.

Swinging a huge hammer against a peice of armor is going to bypass a hell of a lot of the armors defences.


It might not be able to peirce it, but they are AP2 because they do so much damage against armor. I think this new 'hack' weapon we're getting in the Deathwatch Bunker should be AP3, otherwise its just a crippled scythe.
