Thread: Which NS drop the best loot?

I've gotten a +25 Droid Speed CA from Elders, thats about it. I haven't looted ONE SINGLE SKILLTAPE from any of the other ones, jsut some very nice DoT pikes, etc.

Where could I find outcasts? I've heard about them just never seen any.

Last night i saw a few Outcast at the NS vs Singing Clam POI on Dath.
As far as Elders, ive looted 2 so far and have gotten nothing but credits YAY me lol
I never realized it before but the Elders take a HUGE chunk outta your Armor aswell

head to the ns strong hold on dath and you will find somone outcasts with im 1000m of it.
last night i when hunting there and found that i got my best loot off outcasts (wich wasnt good... 12 hdl and 9 clasps)
i did get some lances off some protectors and spellwaver's but they went any good.
i find that protrctors and spell weavers tend to give me the best loot on avrage. but some times i may get lucky with somthing els and get a good drop.

So, you can get missions for marauder's if you can get grouped with people to pull a level 99+ mission? If so, and if you are MHS, then typically, how many others do you need to pull that mission?

i have gotten both my exceptional weapons off of spellweavers. personally i find it best when you come across a spellweaver, initiate or sentinal camp that will spawn then real quick after you kill them. Once there all eliminated the camp despawns, and your left with at least a couple of good loots.

elders only had 1 good drop off about 30 this was recently item i auctioned of for 6mil 25+ 1 hand weapon accuracy belt
protectors had various mod belt /band/i think 1 skill tape but these items dont have usefull mods killed 100's /had a few average lances
sentinal had a good skill tape off 1 killed 100's
spellweavers these dropalot oflances good 1 once in a while /had a few 200+ mind fire /poison average dmg 2 dot..
outcast never dropped anything usefull odd locked container heavy leather
othere type of ns not alot most of time nothing but heavy clasps ,ive had like 50 hvy claps in a few hours and destroyed em
still im gonna continue to kill elders when i got the chance for 2hand speed item/items

I know killing Elders is not the most effecient method, but I just can't help it. Everytime I see one I am drawn to it ... the allure of the +25 tape is just too strong ... but I would say that protecters seem to be the best to kill for loot to me.

what i do when searching is activate ns strong poi, and ns vs ther other people(heh, cant remember name at this point) go from there and back, u should find enough to make u happy

How do you guys kill elders? I can kill just about anything but once I fight an elder I just get owned in 10 minutes even w/ intimidate 2. Any tips?

I took an Elder the other night wearing 75% Ubese (they wreck your armour, so save your good composite for non Kinetic mobs).
Basically, get brandied and canaped up, buffed to buggery and start whacking 2h head hit 3, use a Center of Being macro and intimidate if you can, I stack a couple of bleeds on her as well (over time they add up to marginally more than a single head hit), and occasionally swipe with a mind poison Janta Knife I picked up somewhere.
It takes bloody ages - chances are you'll be able to take another brandy during the battle, but she'll go down eventually, don't pop a muon unless you absolutely have to because when the downer kicks in she'll own you.
I occasionally leave off the specials to regain mind then resume whacking.
Edit: Oh yeah, you might want to use some damage or speed powerups on your hammer, but be warned that you WILL get through at least a crate of the things, so make sure you have them out of the crate and ready to go.

It's a simple numbers game. You have to kill every single NS you see. If you want the +25 loots, that means you have to kill Elders too. An elder takes me 10 minutes solo, 4-6 if I have a partner that's good with a rifle (which I do). Dont forget about the Singing Mount Clan either. Kill every one of those tramps too. You can do it alot faster if you use uber weapons, but after a week, the weapon is trashed and you have to go buy a new one. This is assuming you can get 3-4 repairs on it that aren't complete failures.
You will get hundreds, if not thousands of pieces of junk loot. But then, you will get something that just blows your mind.
My last trip to Dath, Imade around 80k in credits, just off looting.
