It depends on many things, I think. So far I have yet to see a Powerhammer, or anything else for that matter, on my server, that has a higher DPS (damage per second) rate than my current 2.0 speed 2H Curved Sword.

If I could find a good PowerHammer with a fairly close DPS and better HAM costs I would probably switch, but as it is right now, the 2H Curved is the best weapon I've been able to find so far.

To be fair I haven't looked all that much, mostly sticking to Tatooine and Naboo at the moment. It may be that there are better weapon shops elsehwere, etc. Much will depend on the weaponsmiths on your server, and on whether the weapon was sliced, and how well it was made, and with what resources, and so on. A really good sliced weapon made by a good master with good materials will beat any supposedly "higher level" weapon made with crap materials by someone who didn't know what he was doing, that is unsliced.

PlayerOneX - When I said 1000 - 1500, I meant using no special attacks. 1-1.5k is the standard attack damage. At master I hit the speed cap of 1.0s.. you do the maths..

Dont even get me started on specials.. 23k Hit3 anyone?

lol I acknowledge the power hammers strengh, and 1.0 on a PH, you must have a awesome speed slice and powered up, asI too am a Master, and I'm not capping with my speed...maybeI just got a slow hammer /shrug

however my point really was, the HAM cost to use each weapon.... for me, the power hammer is not a good choice asI also use a pistol... The 2hand Curve and a Pistol both require a lot out of the Action pool... leaving me to sacrifice my health pools secondaries. The PH requires insane high health.... prolly leaving a sacrafice in action pools.... neither drain the mind too badly soo the mind pools not a big deal....

however ifone wouldgo rifleman/swordsman,thier prolly gonna be screwed LMAO

Somy answer to Williamtaft's question... its not true nor false...it comes down to how you play.... if your character requires stats to be migrated dominantly in the health area's the PH is a better bet... if you require your Action pools to be dominate in thier migration.... the 2hand curve is your best bet....

In my experiance and the fellow MastersI have battled with, we have all agreed, its character set up that decides which weapon is better... we all have equal success using both weapons, we can take down the same things, in the same amount of time, using either or....

andI think we all agree, untilone gets higher up in accuracy and speed, the power hammer is not a lot of fun at all....

hummmm, best 2 hand sword eh? Gee, with so many Swords ta pick from is hard ta make that decision....curved or cleaver, cleaver or curved.....B^)

Hmm... I have a 465 / 3.7 Power Hammer, and I still think 2h Curved is the way to go. HAM costs on hammer are too high, especially in soloing situations.

with slice and powerup my hammer is 5.5 700max dmg. I'm only a novice though so I don't know how much dmg it will do.
