I wouldn't wait for a +25 counterattack, you only need +15 to cap and it's not a problem to find a +1 to throw into a biceps or any other armor part.
Attachments do not take you over the cap of 125.

attachments do take you over. 125 for skill point cap- mods give you like +15 more or somewhere around that.

Can you please point to an official statement that says that attachments takes you over the +125 cap?
The closest i have found to an official statement is this: http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=fencer&message.id=39896
If you have a more reliable source saying otherwise please provide me with a link.

Dont wait, put them in now, because You Only need another +1 from another attachment to cap, and just get a cheesy +1 and slap it on some amor and then your capped, or sell the +14 and a +15

from my understanding thats only for proffession defense caps ..melee/ranged defense can be taken over cap with attachments.

The fact that you already have those two +25s should nullify all future luck of you running across a +25 counterattack. FOR THAT WOULD BE TOO UBER!
I'd just go ahead and do it, you can always cover it up. you freakin psycho.

Wow...
A Mabari Belt with 3 times +25 2h-mods would be worth like...

Quoted from KB article 7445:
Question
How does cross-profession defense stacking work?
Answer
It is very possible to combine defensive abilities of multiple professions. However, these combined skill modifiers may be capped to ensure that a target is still hittable. Dodge, Counterattack and Block are all modifiers that cannot be raised past +125, regardless of combined profession defenses. Foods, Skill Tapes and other enhancing items can still move an individual past this limit.

I'd put those AAs in a composite bicep, the bicep from what I understand gets hit the least of all. If you put them in a belt then you can't wear a PSG =(big big big big downside if you ever do pvp.
