actualy last i checked kwi's have a 50% kinetic resist and a 5% blast resist. i can take one down to 1/2 health if i use warcry2 to keep them from intimidating me but once they finaly do (and they will intimidate you within seconds if they can) things go alot slower.


they mayintimidate you but you can do it right back to them

6600 credits round trip for a Intimidation state cure pack.


That is one expensive pack LOL


Anyhoo I will be paying much closer attention to intimidation, making sure I keep that cleared and look to see if stun does lower hit points too.


5% Blast resistance? Medium armor? I still say our hits should be int he 3000 point range since we supposedly can cut through medium armor.

I think Intimidate halves your damage delt...
Stun probably adds to your speed, thereby making you attack slower,


Therefore, if you are stunned and intimidated, then you'll be hitting for less, and hitting slower, thereby, potentially doing 25% damage. I don't know if the percentage is accurate, but the overall idea, that if your stunned, and intimidated, your DPS will suffer

and for the record, the enhanced creatures are harder than the acklay... i was outdamaging (by myself) 6 other people, at least until my mind ran out against the acklay, while it takes me about 5-8 mins to kill one enhanced creature

You're pretty close..the exact number you are looking for is 56%.. you do 25% more damage for every level of armor piercing you have over the targets armor rating.


Here's a breakdown for ya'


ap vs. ar = end damage multiplier


20 1.56


211.25


221.00


2 3 .50 (krayts and other super hard mobs have heavy armor)


3 01.95(for reference this is a T21 (heavy ap) vs. no armor)


Once these modifiers are applied you still have to account for the creatures resistances to your specific damage type. So, the difference between a 0 ar and low to none blast damage creature and a med ar 50% resist blast damage can easily turn a 3k hit into a 1k point hit---effectively cutting your damage to a third of what your used to. If you happen to be intimidated (which the kwi's do quite often---it's like they KNOW!!!) then I am under the impression that it cuts your damage to roughly half which would then turn your low 1k hit into a 500 point hit. You notice it so much more because they have 30k or so hams---bastages.....


I didn't count but I dont think it's taking me 5-8 minutes to kill the kwi's....then again time flys in there. I stood toe to claw with the acklay for a minute and a half before him and all his buddies finally got me....It went so fast!!And I barely scratched him, lol!!
