I completed it. Don't even bother fighting the Krayt if you go by yourself.....just go buffed and armored, dig up the treasure.....run (the thing had like 350K Mind....).....circle around, pick up your schematic and whatever else is in there (I got a twin force crystal for when I make jedi....hahaha, now THAT's funny!)....It was hitting me at close to 200 per hit, but my armor is 80% comp, so it held a lot....now the question is......how often are these sword cores, schematics, etc, going to drop? As often at Gurk King Hides and Peko-Peko Feathers?!?!?!??!

bout the only way to get that schematic out of the chest is with some high kinetic armor
buffs wont last long

Carbonite Steel OQ= 396 SR= 957
Neutronium steel OQ= 878 UT= 649
OQ doesn't matter. Those are both quite decent. Look for phrik in the low to mid 900's.

The krayt pops as soon as you pull up the treasure chest. I had a full set of Ubese armor with 70% kinetic on and had my speeder right next to me. I pulled up the treasure chest, hopped on my speeder andgotout of harms way before the krayt could incap me. I then lured the krayt away from the chest andreturned toloot the scroll out of the chest. This worked for me, but I may have just been lucky.

i got the schematic very easily actually, just hoped on my swoop, and took off before the krayt even saw me, then let him wander a bit, ran in, looted, and took off. i didn't even buff or use powerboost. i just wish i could make the sword before my account expires! hehe

I just pickedup the scroll with the scythe blade shematics. Now I need to shop around for the best resourses I can find on Tarquinas and wait for the cave to open up. StGabriel, what were the stats on the resourses that you used? Haven't found any pharik aluminum yet, but so far I got the following:

for u CH's get out a pet and send it to attack the dragon assoon as you dig up the schematic then peg it for your bike

Whats the point......I'll never be able to get one of these things witout camping with 50 other people all the time.....sigh it'll be holocrons all over again.

I'm a wookiee. I went in with full buffs, dug it up, and just took hits from the dragon while I emptied the box. (Kiting the dragon around didn't occur to me.) I had to heal myself once but I had time to spare.

Why are you guys getting off yourbike. I went and did it get the schematics. And everything else. No buffs. No armor. Hell I didnt evan have any pants on. Long story dont ask.

So maybe that helps a nit. Ya I got hit. But I was gone in about 1 sec anyways. Not I was wondering how many weapons are we going to get out of this schematic?
I have an alt. He is not combat orinated will he be able to get the quest. I noticed that they guy told me that this task was below my level. Do I still want to try it. If it is above my level. Will he still give me the quest..
