You know what I'd like to see from the devs? FEEDBACK.
That's all - nothing else. Nothing is more frustrating than thinking that the guy on the other side of the systemeither doesn't know or just doesn't care about your issues. The two threads that Goreki referenced earlier (sorry, I don't have them here), from Q3PO, mentioned a lot of things that the devs were looking at addressing at some time, and were very heartening to read, even if I might be tempted to be skeptical that they actually were wanting to help us (I'm not, actually - to be honest, I'm fairly optimistic and believe they're trying the best they can).
Still, just a short little note, perhaps once every two weeks from a dev saying "here are the issues I've heard your correspondent raise on your behalf, here is what we're doing to address them" would work wonders for us, I think. And how long could that possibly take? 15 minutes? Half an hour, even?
We still have the lowest defense of any melee.. And not the highest offense.
If we suffer from such wickedly low defense (20 melee defense I think, I forget numbers) - we should benefit from having extremely high offensive abilities to compensate..
I know the armor is now all fubar, but I was fighting without armor.. I use to be able to do this, get hit for a bit more, but much less ham cost, good when I'm going all out with specials. Well I get hammered now, I'm wondering if melee toughness is broken.. or something else is going on?
Can anyone else verify this?
