Thread: Best Armor for Swordsman?

Voritar bone armor (made with voritar bone armor segments looted off grassland voritar trackers on dantooine) adds about 5% kinetic resists, and since you can wear a full set with very little encumbrace (even less if you get it sliced) it is the best you can get for everyday encounters...i would suggest good ubese or composite for those really sticky situations.

Hey Lomek, Think could lend a hand to the guy that taught you most of your skills, and hook me up with some of that 80% composite?

I know this isn't a tactics thread but I thought I'd add a comment about"the melee killer - kiting ranged NPCenergy attacks".

I use a very simple yet incredibly effective way to end this irritating kiting behavior - put a tree or a large rockbetween you and the kiting NPC. Almost every planet has trees and even the Litterbox, err, Tatooine has boulders. This foils their ranged energy attacks and will force them to close to you and use their kinetic attacks, at which point you own them.

Just wondering, what armor is everyone wearing out there? What do you like/dislike about it?

68% kinetic ubese, HAM is not that bad, and high kinetic... only bad thing is the 33% effect on energy

80% overall Composite Helmet.

70% overall on the rest of a full Composite suit.

I'm at work and not at my home PC so i can't check all the stats but i'm just a novice and i use a composite chest plate thats 78% resist vs kinetic but has horrid HAM =[ I want a set of Ubese that has 70% though, that'd be optimal.

In PvE, the high kinetic Ubese is definately the best. In PvP i dont wear nethin but a high acid comp helm but im always buffed anyways

I got a full suit of 84% kinetic resist composite, but the ham costs are soo bad that i have to be buffed with muon gold and fishak to get it all on.(Had it sliced, 4 30-45% effectiveness slices and the rest encumberance)

High kinetic resist advanced Ubese is the way to go. I can take a serious beating with that on, along with COB.

I gotta admit, I never thought I would like ubese, but I do, it takes a good beating and even tho its lower MAX condition than Composite it doesnt really wear down all too fast.

Another thing I didnt think I would like but do is COB. It really does make em miss and get countered alot. Ive gone through battles with white or yellow cons and forced a miss or counter 5 times in a row, then they do hit for 150 and my armor catches like 110, then they miss 5 more times hehe....
