I dont get it how the Cleaver can be better than the 2-handed-curve sword - maybe its because I cant find a decent Cleaver I dono.

I got the following weapons:

PH1 137-469, speed 3.7, range -31, avagre dmg / sec = 81,9 (31% speed slice)

PH2 179-614, speed 5.3, range -31, avagre dmg / sec = 74,8 (30% dmg slice)

PH3 166-577, speed 5.7, range -9 , avagre dmg / sec = 65,2 (worn down, wish I could find a new one, got a 32% dmg slice)

2HCS 80-322, speed 2.5, range +8, avagre dmg / sec = 80,4 (30%+ dmg slice)

Cleaver 134-291, speed 3.3, range -8, avagre dmg / sec = 64,4 (30% dmg slice

All sliced, but no powerup !

As I said, my cleaver might be a crappy version, but got a 30% dmg slice on it - but even then I cant get the math to work - only thing talking FOR the cleaver is the damage migration, well maybe also HAM cost, but ya normaly got nice buffs in PvP.

I like the PowerHammer best, been using it since Novice, and still using it 90% of the time, do switch to my 2-handed curved sword once in a while - but I think my speed sliced PowerHammer rocks in PvP.

I dono if they change something about the hit changes lately - because I have never missed so much since I became Master - still hopeing I can find a new PowerHammer with that low -9 range modifer - but looks like the original creater has retired.

For PvE, 2hcs til master techniques then power hammer so long as you got food/buffs.

pvp I wouldnt know and dont care =P ... just holo grinding.

at master a curved sword is useless, because a cleaver hits the speed cap (1 hit a second) as well as a curved sword.... power hammer lags behind in speed tho, but has higher damage

my 2 h curved sword is as good as it gets on naritus at max 331 it had a 35% damage slice on a 247 max damage to begin with.

Power hammer hands down.

Almost nothing has a major resistance to blast dammage, and if it does allyou dois switch to the curved sword for kientic.

Plus the higer damage of the hammer and the good speed mods of techniquereally makes it the weapon of choice.

I myself prefer the powerhammer, but like its been said, in pvp accuracy is getting important...so its going to be a curved sword for me soon.

In pve however, its definately a powerhammer i use. Especially when most high end mobs have high kinetic resists. I have two hammers i use atm. A 3.8 spd 125-465, and a 5.2 180-595
