gave 400 mind wounds to a doctor in my guild in under 40 seconds.......and he was doign NOTHING but healing disease the entire time and he could not stop it.


and no it isnt an exploit i talked to a CSR about it a while ago when he was helping me out with a ticket on faction bases. Pretty powerful stuff and wanted to make sure it wa son the up an dup......and it is, so far.

Who says Swordsman ain't PvP? The same people who say Pistoleer and TKM ain't PvP. Fight a Master Doc/Master Fencer in 90% armour (noneed forthe fictional armour described above, because YOU don't get to do stun damage). If you can even see a sliver of white in their HAM bars before you die, that's a moral victory.

thats where you have to figure out away to beat them. yeah its hard and alot of times you lose but if you get your skills down its possible. hell im too lazy to even get stun armor and i can beat them. you just have to use all the skils you have intimidate 2, stun, dizzy/kd and being able to heal is a must. i'm 3 3 4 0 in medic and i drop 1k heals on myself. chop down their mind bar while they drain it trying to repeatedly take down your health and action. you win eventually. being able to hit mind for 1100 is a very powerful skill and even after armor thats still a good bit of damage, but if you're trying to pvp with only master swords and not another profession or master brawler you're probably dead in the water. unfortunately it doesnt stand alone very well.

anyprofession thathas mind attacks and weapons with max damage over 400 aren't exactly gonna be chop liver when it comes to pvp if played right.


and nosingle professionis gonna get nerfed anytime soon, nothing is gonna change in terms of combat until the combat balance publish which will drastically change how everything is played.

Here's a tip for beating a rifleman, have cob macroed, once they hit you run at them, once they kite run the opposite direction, they will chase, keep an eye on the map, once they do that, change direction and burst run at them posture change or kd, warcry/peace, intimidate, the fight is over

whoever those people are that said geo pistols and jawa's own people. I would suggest facing a good player before opening your mouth. Synth steak 44% reduction 40% composite 55% psg. 100 damage by any stun weapon. /cob 50 damage and you can regen that really fast.I am a fencer not a swordsmen btw but still you say that geo and jawa own anything they do not. It all depends on the players skills and equipment.

hehehe one of my guild riflemen/doctors was killing people pretty handily wiht his jawa last night while we were waiting to be attacked.


he had good buffs and a 2600 or so mind with excellent secondaries.


I put on my 39% stun helm, 45% psg, i had taken synthsteak liek 40 mins before so it was still in effect and my stomach was empty....so i took 2 brandies (+401 each) and 2 +798 canapes and then took a muon


my base total of 900/450/500 was thus increased + 500/500/500 + 802/802/802 + 0/1596/1596


for a grand total of 2202 mind 3348 focus and 3398 willpower that added to my stun protects made his mind attacks pretty weak....throw on an intimidate/burst run (enhanced caus eim a SL total of over +100 TN) then start goin for KD.


Riflemen/CM's are abit harder cause the poison ignores resists but they are still very killable.

Pure swordsman is not good for pvp, with the right skills to compliment it tho they are almost invincible (CM is the exception). Swordsman has the most powerful mindhits of any melee, with capped defences and COB going riflemen can hardly hit you if you get close enough. And when you get close their mind will drop likeinternet stock.

CoB is the key, i realized this recentely. So i counted and it last for around 28 or 29 seconds. i ran at a MR last night and he missed 4 or 5 times allowing me to hit him with my 300 tick psn NS lance when i had about 50 total mind before he killed me. Swordsman is amazing in combat if you know how to use it combinded with other meele classes. Its part of the reason we can fight several players at once and not die.
