whats the rebel equivalent of these guys? Imps seem to be getting no love when it comes to factional loot drops. I ran circles around Tyrena and Kor Vella and the best mod I pulled all day was a Carbine Acc 11...on a 68 max damage carbine G_G

Not exactly sure how much ham the novatroopers have but rebel commodores sound like this. They don't drop to melee, strong damage, lots of ham, and good loot. I looted a +20 food experimentation belt and a +17 carbine speed bando off of them in one buff session. I found them at a rebel base(pve or pvp I'm not sure). And also, rebel ensigns drop decent attachments, up to +12 is what I have found off of them, and commandants dropped me a +15. But good luck with that with the new patch, there areinsane rebel npcs that are immune to intimidate spawning at some of those bases.

The only place I have seen the rebel commodores is around player placed bases, both the combatant and special forces bases spawn them. The latest patch notes seem to indicate that they will no longer be there because the rebel bases are harder to attack than their imperial counterparts because of their presence. Seems the rebel commodores are being sent back to the corvette from whence they came.

Select the player/npc/monster and hover your mouse over their HAM bars and a little number will appear saying how much they are.

Looks like they got replaced with veteran sith hunters, elite heavy troopers or something and weapon masters. That's what I found when I checked out a base today. They had around 100-150k ham, heavy armor with decent resists, immune to intimidate. Pretty tough vs. a group of them solo, no intimidate hurts.

Yeah I noticed that about the blue supertroopers....I thought I read somewhere they are actually robots, so in that case I guess they would be like the SBDs and immune to intimidate.

They're also immune to bleeds, poison, and disease.

Sith hunters don't ever drop loot. Ever. I promise. I've killed dozens, and not one has ever dropped the loot. I seriously think they're there as a nuisance, or they're there so that when I DO loot something, I'll see Broken Datapad (Legendary)

They do drop. I found a ca off one today, but I can see why you would think they don't. I too have gone through dozens of them and just empty corpses left and right. Just seems like their drop rates are pretty low, you will go through a lot of them before you find anything at all, let alone something worth keeping.

Took one of these guys on with a few guild members. I started to take him. Got his mind damage half way then I got hit for 7000 health damage and was killed with that shot as well.

Since I was the tank and MD there everyone else fell within seconds after I died. Never seen anything like that again. Since then they are the only PVE I will not go after anymore. Who would think a swordsman/doc actully scared to fight something.

Commodore hit me for 7k, 3k, 7k in that order... survived though. 90% armor and ADK PSG for teh win

I usually can fight them solo... but I also usually die after about 1.5-2 hours... eventually one of them spawns with a T21 and you just can't keep up with the healing when solo.
