Ive gota question on this matter: Im new to the whole high end pve scene tho i like what im seeing, jst took my first kraytes and got very close to takin an elder with my friend, we got careless thinkin about the beautiful loot we may get. Well, i always go huntin with my friend (RL Friend). We both have the exact same temp - master swordsman / master fencer / master brawler / bit of medic - Were both poorandtoo lazy todo the wholefs thingso we aint speed capped.I was wondering if it would make more sense for me to drop swords and pick up rifleman, i would never drop fencer, i love to too much (i like to pvp aswell), though i would be willing to drop master brawler (since my pal will always be there for the int/warcrys 2's) and pick up medic 4-0-4-0. My friend would keep his template.
would u knowledgable pve'ers suggest this to be the better option for our 2 manhuntingroup?

This is simple, swords. Why???
Because how the hell you gonna get past the protectors and spellweavers that are right next to the Elder with a rifle?

if all your doing is elders, go rifleman! it would be idiotic not to... has anyone here heard of /concealshot ??? just get a mice damage sliced t21 and take /cover and /conealshot constantly... it takes about 15 mins but she doesnt touch you the whole time, she just stands there gettin shot the hell out of... the real problem comes in when you go in to /loot to try to get past the protectors and spell weavers and such... 100% resist to t21s

Im going Master Swordsman Master Rifleman and Im gonna use my rifle, headshot3 it to death, When it come to me, will I take like 200 per hit, or will I get a major damage reducion with melee mitagation 3?

Have you or your friend go rifles and one of you stay swords. That way you can attack all NS mobs and having one rifle and one swords goes alot faster than 2 swords would.
Dont get caught up in the idea that Elders only drop good loot because ALL NS's drop awesome loot.

You will still get the melee mitigation even if you are holding a rifle
