Wow, a night doesnt go by where I dont see at least 10-12 swordsman tags hanging around the Coronet spaceport on Scylla. And just last week I was in on a raid, and out of the 20 of us, there were 4 master heavy swords, plus three others showing other swordsman tags. All in all it was a little crazy.

Well ours is largely a 'half-fun profession,' fulfilling our mantra as 'the heavy hitter' in PvE only.

TKA's with their lack of mitigation, fencers stun baton'ing right thru armor, and Pike's flaming/poisoning away all do around double my damage at half the speed, if mywell-crafted/sliced 189-623 -31's PH actuallyconnects.

... b/c of the imbalance, personally from whatI've seenon Scylla, over half are TKMs, though some are migrating to existingFencers to get acklay batons, then 1-2 swordsmen here, a nightsister pikeman there, and so on...

Untill there is an Armor Shift(What i am calling it) Where Stun no longer >>>All damage types, I forsee Riflemen and Fencers being EXTREEMLY common in PvP Spesific and all around builds.

Swordsman, while we can hold our own in PvP, we just can't compete with the Stun damage of Riflemen and the "Unkillable" Fencer.

As for PvE, I do forsee Swordsmen becoming gradualy more "FOTM"....Arguably, We are the best at it (Right now), Due to our High Special modifiers and the Blast damage that alot of high end mobs are weaker against COMBINED with the inate benifit of being our own tank.....What prevents alot of riflemen from being the "Big Game Hunters"

Then Suplemented With Either Doc or a Mix of other brawler abbilities. Doc abilities a benifical on two fronts- first the Big heals, Always buffed, Cures...ECT. And the Second;Selling these Abilities either by crafting Highley expiermented Stims, packs, Buffs..ect. OR the Brawler abilities to make you a Bigger, Meaner swordsman

What do you mean Nerf-man cometh?? Hasnt he allready been kicking our teeth in since day 1????????????

first the AOE poture timer nerf... then mitigation... then bleeds ... what next??
Are they going to nerf our 3 different lines of posture changes??
Are they going to take away mind damage? ... (in a way yeah)

well all you flase metal swordsmen should be receiving your black arows of death soon.

Go count the number of posts asking if Master Swords/Master Rifleman is any good in PvP on this forum and the Rifleman forum made in the last week and get back to me...

To answer the question, yes. MHS/MRM with either a 3440 Fencer or 4304 TKA dabble is the new FotM.

On Chilastra there aren't too many swordsman but more than half the server is master rifleman... I'm serious if you pvp against a group of 4 people 3 of them are riflemen. Best swordsman PvP template: Master Swordsman, Carbineer 0/0/4/0, TKA 0/0/0/4. Use center and its like the counterattack stack all over again.
