The Geo caves were made for us. As a swordsman you can completely rock anything in there.
Couple nights back, a group of five of us went in to see if we could get some bones and pistol schems. The group was:
2 Master Fencers (one master doc) (one Rifleman)
1 Master Pistoleer/BH Pistol line
1 Pistoleer/BH
1 MHS/Rifleman/TK (Me)
When we got to the acklay, he spawned maybe 2 minutes after we got to the room. I got a Headshot off right when he spawned, and switched to my PH. From there, he was all about hitting me. Using just my powerhammer and MeleeHit3, I tanked him the entire fight with everyone else spamming specials. Swordsmen/TK's own as far as tanking goes. So you'll be set as far as taking a group down to the Acklay for bones.
On our way up to the Mercenary room to camp the pistol schematic, the rest of the group got held up by a few Klikniks. I ran ahead and agroed 3 Kwi's, and 2 Klikniks. Pulling them all together, i just took 2 shots of brandy, hit the moun, and started spamming area3. When the rest of the group was done with their 2 mobs, i had killed the two klikniks, and had all 3 kwi's down to about 30% health each. They quickly finished them off and we moved on. This speaks to the swordsman's tanking skills as well.
At the Mercenary camp, the group split up for a bit and the master pistoleer and I were left in the room to camp the schem for him. Same deal, the mobs would spawn, and i'd spam area3. They'd last all of about 15 seconds.
What i'm trying to point out here, is that as a Swordsman, you will completely decimate anything in the Geo caves. Even in a group, you'll be the big damage dealer as the dungeon is made for fighting in close quarters. Couple this with the fact that most rooms and hallways have multiple spawns in them, and you'll be doing the most damage to every mob you fight.
When we went there, i was more interested in leveling rifleman so i only pulled out my PH when we had more than 3 mobs on us at a given time. It was more of an insurance knowing i could just pull out my PH and the fight would instantly take a new direction.
Would the group have been able to do what we did that night without me? Of course. with 2 fencers (one of them being a master doc) in the group, they'd completely crush anything in there. With a master pistoleer/BH pistol toon, that's even more damage dealing the group can do. Add yet another BH/Pistoleer and you have still more damage. But being the swordsman in the group, I was able to outdamage all of them if the need arose.
So when you go there, bring a friend or two and you'll be fine. If you want to solo, you should do fine in a lightly populated room or hallway. The only thing you'll really have to be concerned about is letting your buddies get some xp too
It still is quite hard (and requires actually using your brain at some points) soloing the Geo cave as a Swordsman (without +25 Speed SEAs and a crappy 613 max dmg PH) without the added defenses of other melee professions.

Well I made MHS on saturday morning (I trained it specifically to be able to kill stuff in the geno labs). I've since soloed the entire place twice and cleared it bringing along a few friends to show em around a few times too, my template is:
TKA 4304
Master Fencer
Master Brawler
Master Heavy Swordsman
So I've don't have any novice medic even, but really while buffed that generally isn't a problem, ifI *really* need to heal afterall I can just warcry2 everything on me, /peace, and regen for 20 seconds out of every 30.. in full armor nothing in there really damages you enough that you won't be able to regen (assuming you use your head and don't pull 10 enhanced kwi's at once).. and of course remember to intimdate2 all the tougher creatures there (everything but spiders, crazed genosians and droidekas)..
The only thing in the caves that make it a bit tough are the kwi's,spiders and acklay all using intimidate, which with no doctor ability, really reduces my damage output a lot, and slows things down considerably.
Takes about an hour and a half to solo the place for me, roughly..

Yeah swordsman can solo the cave quite easily with buffs and a good set of armor. The droidekas are the only potential threat in the cave due to the fact they are using range weapons and we have no ranged mitigation. Try to fight them one on one and spam headhit 3 until they are down.

master doc master sword is great for the geo cave but the best advice i can give if you not master sword yet is to just take your time you can go in with a group of 20 and cause they all run about like idiots you all die quickly whereas a small group can easily do it if your sensible. as a doc swordsman the kwi's are a pain but i can take 4 at a time with area 3 or if there s 2 of them i just bleed them both with my acklay ph then alternate warcy on them and head hit's. but when you get to the acklay use a scythe. being faster you can also heal states and healt more often + most things int he cave have low blast resists and high kinetic resists but the acklay is the reverse 10% kinetic resist but 45% blast so use you scythe on the acklay if your lucky the acklay will get aggroed by the majority of the other mobs around him in which case it's easy pick off the kw's from behind while they fight acklay and get it down to the acklay versus 2 kilikniks then start on the acklay either head hits or 2 hand hit 3 depending on whether the other creatures did it much damage. then when the acklay is down to 1/4 health kill the kilikniks and finsih him off your self. but out of the many times i've been there i've only been luckly with the aggro once most of the ime i get aggroed by the kwi's b4 or at the same time of the acklay. but if your going in there i would recoment taking at least one friend who's a cm or doc
