Yeah, aakuan's are pretty good, but you don't get the real big ones. Night sisters don't give up alot, but when they do..... I had forgotten the corvette. Drops there are quite good.

Does anyone know the mission level for Aakuan Champion's?
Is it something I'd have to solo group with alot of people or group the AT-ST to get?
Might have to give them a try now 
Oh yeah, and what do the missions pay?

The corvette can be very difficult if you aren't careful. The main level is usually safe to clear containing at most 70-80k ham guys. Once you clear the main level you can lure guys from upstairs or downstairs to the elevators and bring them with you 1 at a time to avoid getting mobbed.
Before going there I would suggest you get a suit of comp armor with 80% energy protection and as high of a base protection as possible. Make sure you have full buffs (doctor, dancer, musician) as well as brandy, canape and synth steak. Having feign death is very useful there as well, it allows you to avoid losing your buffs.
So far I've been able to clear all of the starting level and about half of the sub level solo. The only problem I run into is the Super Battle Droids. They are now randomly spawning and respawning all over the ship, so you have to be very careful.

I grouped with my ATST last night to pull them, at lvl 75 you tend to get 2 whites and 3 blues, the missions pay 8500 or thereabouts..

I ran some Aa'kuan missions last night... the missions are kinda tough to find so it takes alot of refreshing to get 2 in the same direction. I noticed they run from 8500-9000 credits. I flew to Dantooine first and grouped ( 20 people strong) and headed to Talus. I wasn't sure what level they were so I wasn't going to take a chance by myself. I would assume a 2 person or 1 person , 1 pet group would suffice. I only ran the missions for an hour and nothing good dropped so I got depressed (like I usually do with loot) and went to Lok looking for GDKs. Killed 2, nothing! So far i'm 0 for 4 on GDK and scale drops.
One thing i noticed which surprised the hell out of me... My template is Mast Rifleman / TKM / Mast Brawlerwith Novice Swordsman. I pulled out a 178-586 power hammer and started hitting for 800-1100 damage.. WOW! My VK was doing 250-500 damage.....I think that sealed the deal on dropping TKM. The only thing that scares me is the attack speed so I might keep TKM just because I need to enjoy the game a little and quit grinding....

The attack speed is pretty good once ya hit master. Oh and congratulations welcome to the Unlucky in Loot club, I'll have a badge for ya as soon as I can loot one...

Huh ?!
With a good scliced (as master NEVER use a speedslice, you are capped, go for damage slice) VK and the right attack (UAH3), you CAN hit over 2K per shot (distance, no intim., accuracy).....
Iam TKM, Fencer, Masterrifle and Doc.

I did Aa'Kuans for another buff session last night....my 1st solo group got dropped so I basically on had 2 hours....
Got two AA's and 3 more ranged defense rings.
+6 Intimidate AA
+6 Def v. Posture Change (Up) AA
I also got like 4 pieces of Aa'kuan clothing...with the +10 resists...bleed shirts...disease belts...poision robes

You can still get them when your difficulty level is 57 (Aa'Kuan Champion).
That's what my difficulty level was when my solo group started falling apart..and only had 4 or 5 other people in it.

i have looted +5 intim and +5 2h speed (yay me) and a ringfrom aakuan missions
can we just clarify a little what we need to be grouped with to pull these missions?

NS drops killer SEA's when you can get them to drop em...
But I've had the best luck with Aa'kuan Champ missions or in the Aa'kuan Cave... Plus you can loot Aa'kuan Rings (+5 ranged def), Belts (plus 10 disease), Robes (+10 poison) or shirts (+10 bleed resist).
Today I looted a +5 2 handed speed, just sold it on auction for 10mil...
I've looted other AA's out there that aren't worth quite that much, but they're valuable if your the right class...
