you're right, in your situation I would do the same. I am curious if your +10 accuracy and the defense vs blind (as far as I remember +15 or so) really do something in the game. Anyway, a rodian with a hammer its a great view. Can you tell us, if you would have 900/1000/1100 on mind like I have, would you keep 14 spts in medic 0040?

get speed capped, you have 3 points wasted in melee speed. On my server an ubese shirt with +10 or +12 2h speed is around 15mil. Played on three servers and the prices are pretty the same. If I were you I would migrate to 1) template, but thats just me. At least you can try it and tell me after if you enjoyed it better than your current template.

When you have polearm wep equipped you get only +31 toughness. So while you have problems farming 30 or more crazy geos with pike, 3) template with an ithorian myst in stomach is doing pretty well (yes those +41 melee count). Please remember this:
dizzy/stun/blind/KD/posture/Intimidate defenses cap is unknown. As I said, its better to keep them around +65 and cap them with food. The real hole in your template is defence vs posture down and KD. Even with +90 defence vs dizzy they will dizzy you sometimes there is always that 10% chance to get a dizzy. That is why you must have also KD/posture defences because the chances to be dizzy on the floor become 10%*10% = 1% (if you have +90dizzy and +90KD/posture). So yes, you have more than needed def vs dizzy but too low KD/posture down defence. How many times were you dizzied on the floor by the way?
It's true that melee defence doesnt count on elders for example but your template its not adapted to elders, you'll have problems fighting a stun baton elder (while with template 1) I won a fight with a stun baton elder and a protector by killing the protector while warcry, changing PSG and healing like crazy then I killed the elder
. You will have also serious problems if an elder stick a dizzy on you and after that kd/posture change you. With template 1) I can cure dizzy any time she stick it on me.
Again, I dont want to suggest that your template is not good enough, I'm just explaining my templates and my choices. You can solo an elder with your template thats for sure!
To answer your questions:
Accuracy never cap! You can have +1000 accuracy (like elders have
Melee Mitigation +8 ->Melee Mitigation doesn't stack, it's just the higher that count
'Defense vs Intimidate +40 (doesnt get much higher in any build)' -> not true, a great ranged protection template has +65! Just take template 2) and add1 carabineer box.

Many people choose to have medic 2040 and they think this is a must. In my opinion lower medic you can have is 2000 but you are the bravest swordsman among us!
No /firstaid means you take a higher risk fighting elders that's all. You CAN survive it but with /firstaid you'll ALWAYS survive. Yes there are different templates for fighting high end mobs but I wanted to select the best
For all who think my templates are not the best, its very easy to verify them, just try them, you all have MBrawler/MSwords/Novice medic so its a piece of cake to try my templates. In 99% cases I tried yours

If I could ahve your mind pool stats, I think I would at the most only have 2000 medic... Fixing the bleeds is pretty powerful with first aid... Of course a TKA splash could so that too...

give me a 250 mind strength dot fire NS lance and I would do the same. If they don't nerf the DoTs this whole thread is useless because the best template in the game will be Master Pikeman/Master Doc or something around that. Anyway enjoy your pikes man!

many low level mobs from corvette (Sergeant, Lieutenants, Captain, Major etc) miss me. In DWB its pretty hard to feel the difference but let me tell you something, if you get template 2) you will notice it. I will modify the guide to reflect your observations (ranged defense good only for low level mobs on vette).

I'm with you man, I have a pair of composite gloves with 56% kinetic, cond is now down to 14000/39900 and I'm terrified to repair them. Ive put a +5 2h speed +5 counterattack and some states there. Don't tell me about belt or shirt because I already have them.
I also included from the start a template for poor people, vnicula's standard template

Tip(important):
Buy +1 2h speed around 300k or less from vendors. Search the bazaar, sometime you can buy them with 5k or 6k. Buy as many as you can. Start to put them on bracers, biceps, gloves. The trick is to have at least a +8 on the shirt and belt (best on shirt) and with these additional +5 you're almost capped with 6.0 hammer. Don't tell me you don't have 1.5mil (as I said I often bought +1 2h speed with 5k) to buy the tapes. The shirt with +10 2h speed its a different story, you buy it once, pay the price and use it forever (hopefully).
When a modded piece is over, buy another +1 2h speed, put it in the new piece etc.
Youll notice that is not so hard to find them and the prices are decent (its like a loan, you dont pay 15mil at once but in time...)
Don't be greedy, when you'll sell that looted LVA with 670 max dam unsliced youll get your reward.

Vnicula is right, this is a pretty good template, and it keeps your artisan.
