What food are you eating? I am zabrak and I wear full sets of 80% comp armor and spam specials at speed cap with scythe or my hammer and don't get drained mind at all.

You can pop in a canape occasional...generally canape and ahrisa are 33% fill so have 2 ahrisa then pop in the canape when you hit about half way mind to regen.
I thought this bug came into play when the wookiee armor was implemented?

One of my alts is a Zabrak and when I was a master swordsman for 3+ months I used to chug 2 brandies and an ahrisa and still got drained once in a while until switched to encumberance sliced gloves, helmet and boots but with regular or effectiveness chestplate since health pool was the most commonly hit target. Now with ranged weapons (the pistols) I only need one brandy and an ahrisa since it doesn't eat as much ham and I can even hunt unbuffed (and BH missions), when I used the LLC and carbines it ate a sick amount of ham.

Question on this 4 piece armorwhat if I wear a broken comp bracer will I have a hole in armor then? I am asking this caz I am looking for more armor to stickattachments into without using bandolier.

I only wear the standar 4 (Helmet, Chest, Gloves, Boots) when fighting anything less than a Rancor. For one the little bit more in mind encumbrance you save helps with regen rates, a little. When I start fighting something like Rancors or really big mobs of kamiruth snappers and such I put on the whole set, seems to help if I am trying to grind some xp from them and need to stand there and take the damage.

Yes, probably the broken bracer would cause an armor hole.
But more important, dont stick armor attachments into armor parts that decay!
Use Ubese shirts, Mabari Belts, Bandoliers or even Paramilitary Camos to put them in.

From what I read on testcenter, ubese shirt/bandolier has hit points now, so mabari belt is probably the last thing without any decay which can be a problem when you need ot use a PSG. 
I have a +5 pistol acc/+3 pistol speed/+4 carbine speed shirt, +2 pistol speed/+2 carbine speed belt, +4 carbine speed/+5 carbine acc bandolier

Not to sure about PVP as I haven't done it too much.
I did do a test for PVE though. I wore full suit then started taking paticular items off. From my tests which were against Rancors this is what kept me protected.
Helm,Chest,bracers,pants, boots.
I did the bracer check twice took them off and i was taking alot of damage put them on and no problems. This is the stuff i wear when I PVEand it works great.

Im not sure about every prof but Im a Zabrak and all I wear is Chest,Helmet,Boots,Gloves and BE enhanced camo pants. I wear this suit no matter what Im doing, whether its hunting Rancor, NS, Geno Cave, tanking a Krayt name it this is what I where. I take no dmg or the same amount of dmg as I would with a full suit.
Also, to those of you that have problems with mind drain get your focus over 1500, easily done with 2 brandy and 2 ahrisa with 45+ min duration, pop these every 45 min and your set. 1500 is the magic numberand you will not have a problem with your HAM.
