I think the days of wearing a 4 piece vs High power mobs are over. I used to never wear leggings, I wore the arms to distribute the wear and tear. But, now vs a protecter for instance she hits there enough to wear if she hits while doing a special Im almost or all the dead. I'd stick to a full piece soldier.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I spent last night with just 4 pieces on and killed probably 100+ singing mountain and night sisters without any problems. Even got some good loot.

I've gotta try that sometimes, my suit ham is high eventhough it's sliced for ham.

yeah, never realy tried that, but will find out soon.... i know for a fact that professions like pikemen and carbineer would love to see some one wearing the 4 peice in pvp lol, leg hits and leg shots and they will own even more then they already do

It still works for me. I wore 4 pieces, and was killign nighsisters, no armor holes.

Didnt you read the post? The point was that all legs hits are hittting the boots, so you dotn have to wear leggings to be fully protected. Any atatcks that would have hit the legs are now hitting the boots. And yes I'm sure Carbineers, and Pikeman are owning as we speak

i don't knwo if its an armor hole bug fix that caused it or the introduction of the wook armor that fored them to code for 4 peices, i soloe the ns cave the other day until axkva asked for help but it was my mind bar that died nothing else

I am a trandoshan, i have been killing hundreds of giant dune kimo's and nightsister elders (mostly pre special patch) for a long time as a swordsman, a trandoshan swordsmen no less, the only armor i have bought in the last few months is a helm, chest, pants and 2 biceps, i get full protection and have never been hit with a armor hole.
Now i got on the corvettein agroup, 80/80/80 tank armor, same peices as above, i was hit with the "armor hole" bug thing at least twice

They just did a hot fix to fix the 4 piece armor bug if I am not mistaken... you will now get hit in those places where you are not wearing armor.
