Hey guys just wanted your thoughts on fighting NS elders with a full suit of comp or Just 4 piece (Helment, gloves, boots, chest) I've noticed that I never get hit outside those 4 pieces when I am fighting them. Thanks for your input.

Is it an exploit to use just the Helm/Gloves/Chest/Boots?
I do it for the HAM benefits, as I was stupid backin Jely '03and made my main a Twi'lek.

Well if it gets labelled as an exploit I'm sure we'll all just claim we do it "because it looks cool", but you aren't really exploiting anything, it's up to you how much armour you wear I suppose

Well, it could be argued that you're "using a bug to gain an advantage (ham benefits) in the game system", which is pretty much the definition of an exploit in the TOS. But hey, I'm not a lawyer!

Thats tricky. I would say no, I'll give you my reason why it isn't, but there probably are other reasons it is.
This resulted from an ugly hack the DEVs used to fix the last resurrection of the armor hole. Instead of (or cause they couldn't, didn't feel like it, whatevery) actually finding out why attacks were going right through armor, they added code that if you were wearing a "full suit" would direct the attack to the nearest peice of armor. Thing is the definition of "full suit" with regards to composite is only chest, helm, boots and gloves.
I would say that using the 4 peices is not a exploit because exploiting involves using a flaw in the game to your advantage. You are simply using the system as the DEVs (poorly) designed it.
My two cents.

Warning Warning - 4 peice set may get you killed. With the reintroduction of NPC specials, certain specials that target body parts have been reported to hit you where the armor isn't. Especially imporant for fighting large NPC's who can one shot you. Also your armor will degrade faster because the damage isn't distributed between all the peices, just the 4. So it may be cheaper, it may not be.

They just did a hot fix to fix the 4 piece armor bug if I am not mistaken... you will now get hit in those places where you are not wearing armor.

I've duelled cocky peeps wearing 4 piece Comp (i was Swords/TKM) and i found unarmed leg hit to be vewy vewy effective, much to their surprise
so i think this is fixed - if a player or an NPC uses a targetted move like leghit and u dont have full comp, it's gonna sting when u wake up in the shiny blue glow of the clone center..
