its easy to do, just KNOW how elders spawn and what weapon they are holding, the wep seems to affect what drop ull get
when i kill axkva i notice what weapon she is holding, 1h drops creds normally 2h drops the schematic or vibro motors and ive never seen her hold a pike so :/

If you see 4 or 5 spawns that's all you need. The trick is not to kill the rest of the NS in the group, just pull the elder then wait for her to respawn once you've killed her. If you leave the rest alone you can pull 8+ elders from one spawn.
BTW thanks for posting here everyone, kind of confirmed my suspicions and gives direct data to back up that the new "Loot Revamp" has thus far done nothing to help the level of the NPC to equal the loot that they will drop. The highest end NPCs are still dropping bottom of the pile loot.

No elders but 15 GDK in 2 days, no GDK scales. I looted GDk 2 months ago, and haven't looted GDK scales since, only kimo scales.

yes, i was killing GDK's awhile back and i found this other guy killing them and we started hunting together. he told me one of his guildies was coming to hunt with us. i was fine with that. he gets to the spawn we're at and we kill one. he loots it. he yells "I GOT SCALES!!!" and we're like...#(_$*@....we had been hunting them all day. we asked him how much he got and he said 11. 11!!! thats like 33 million credits. then we start to trade with him and we some nice.....regular.....kimo scales im so unlucky....

Last night killed 2, one 200-400 dmg LVA and one just credits 
On the otherhand, we killed a DJM, me, a swordsman, a DJK and a pikeman, just managed to kill it... I got 'you have looted the corpse of all items' was thinking, please dont be a hat, be a +25 armour experiment or +25 twohanded speed or something 
.....And it was a damage stim pack.. 80 damage to health/action/mind, med use 5
(DJM Stats: 90% resists to all (apart from LS), 321k ham, AR3, and did about 7k dmg to me on my first two hits (was rezzed)(was dragging him to mining outpost, but unfortunatly at 5am not much help ).

This morning 3 elders....2 premium crystals.
Tonight 2 elders....nothing but credits. Not a bad day at all.
Have killed many many many elders the last few weeks and have never looted anything but Crystals or credits. I never get any lances let alone exceptional ones.

Ya today I killed 7 GDK and I got the loot messeage 3 time!! But all 3 times it was stupid regular scales

2-baster rifle barrels (err whatever they were called)

I dont hunt elders that much but when I do I always seem to get premium crystals.

75 yesterday, about 1 decent lance, 5 prems from those
last week did 60 in 1 day, got 4 prems then too.
