Looking at his quote made me wonder though.

100.00% repair tools actually DOES NOT mean you have a 100% chance of repairing it, it only means that the repair tool is capable of repairing an item UP TO 10%.

I had a acklay powerhammer once that i let go down to 35/1000 condition i think it was, im like what the hell ill repair it (with a 99.7 tool) and bam i got 967/967 condition, consider that a full repair lol.

My suggesstion, Sell It, make some money. DO NOT attempt repair on it by any means!

I love seeing weapons like this still being dropped to be honest, really makes you wonder what the hell the devs have planned for a combat rebalance. I myself have been looting DOT weapons like MAD! sg82's, cdef's, llc's, etc etc. never got a exceptional or legendary. I also get a TON of them when slicing locked containers. Hopefully the combat rebalance will be something like making Enhance E or F packs with high enhancement rates Like 8000 health or something, and let entertainers give better mind buffs, like 5000 mind. Of course increasing Power of enemies will come into play also which i am ALL for, 1 shotting tuskens and 4 shotting nightsisters gets old quick.

I would say sell it too. Make a few million off of it.. probably like 5... and buy some decent weapons that will last you a while and not be as prone to repair failure as exceptional/legendary weapons seem to be.

Just thought I'd inform you guys that WS get ZERO bonus when attempting repairs. Taking a repair request to a WS is needlessly trading it for zero benefit, and a collosal waste of their time.

The only advantage to giving it to a ws to repair is that you have someone else to blame besides yourself when the repair fails! Honestly, though, if you plan on using it then you should get it repaired but wait until the condition is below 100. It's superstition for me, I guess, but even so you get more use out of it! If you want to sell it I'm sure you could get much more than 5 mil with this thing. Maybe close around 20 mil but then again economies are different. Sell it how it is, let the person who buys it worry about it. They rarely do and it doesn't really affect the price that much since a good number of repairs are fairly decent.

+Repair tapes DO work. Find an uber MWS on your server who has a bunch of +repair clothing and have him repair it with a 99.9 tool.

Guess as always, people assume that profession has something to do with repairing an item. This is false (I'm sure there will be someone who says "NO WAY!").

The most popular argument is weaponsmith, which I find funny, at least say "Master Artison" who made the damn tool.

It doesn't matter who repairs it, just get a good tool

Do you guys ever read the posts? Weaponsmiths and Armormiths get innate bonuses to repairing items. go through the patch notes as it was an addition in one of the patches in the recent past.

Find whoever your best weaponsmith is on ther server if you want it repaired. What I would probably do is get the thing sliced first, to help determine what you want to do with it. If you get a nice damage slice then you may be better off selling it as is and let the buyer worry about the repair. A good damage slice on that thing will increase it's value exponentially, however a speed slice will be totally meaningless.
