Ive heard of two main things that people do,

1. Goto dantooine, get quenker missions (this is what i did) or....

2. Once u get the speed line(I'll tell u more of this later) goto endor and kill anything that moves

As for weapons, I used a curved sword until i got the speed bonuses in the tech line, then used the power hammer until master.

For which trees to go up: I first got the first box in defense for the spin attack, it was VERY useful, then went up techniques line for the speed bonus, after this, u can either get the rest of the defense line or the offense line, i personally did the defense, so in other words: go 0,0,1,x first, then 0,4,1,x; then 0,4,4,x; then finish the offense line and you should be able to get the combat xp line while grinding the rest of the trees(thats what the "x" stands for)

Hope that helps

I am working my way up Pikeman at the moment (because I will be so uber when I combine it with Carbineer and some Squad Leader....) and I found that the crazed gurreck missions on Endor were better xp than the savage quenkers (and endor is lag free, unlike Dant). I don't know whether they would be as good with swordsman but it might be worth checking out.

With savage quenkers (me grouped with a pet which remains at the outpost) I would get about 3800xp per quenker. 2 quenkers per spawn, for a total of 6 quenkers (max - often they would spawn babies), which gives 22,800xp max.

The gurrecks would give me 3500xp per kill, but there are 3 per spawn, for a max of 9 (and it seemed to spawn fewer babies). This gives 31,500xp per lair. Also I found that the gurrecks would only rarely gang up on me unless I started hitting the lair. It was just as quick, if not quicker, for me to kill a gurreck as opposed to a quenker.

The only disadvantage with endor is the lack of player cities (and hence trainers), but once you are in a position to store a large amount of xp, for example when you have reached the 4th box in any skill tree, it might be better to go to endor and just cap your xp, then go back to Theed and train up.

Just a thought

Im in the same situation as you. I personally like Endor, since there is a large amount of creatures anywhere. Dantooine is kinda dead, who rarely see creatures, on endor there are creatures everywhere. I kill anything that moves, blurggs, arachnes, gurrecks, lantern birds whatever. those spiders are amazing the lair wont stop spawning like 50 spiders, its amazing how many dead spiders or arachnes u see after ur done. Also becareful of poison, but im master doc, so its ok. each spider give 3600xp, and area attack that its insane.

Ok, i forgot one kinda big thing that Trevellian hinted on, get in a solo group! This way, when you are hunting, you get more spawns, but they wont be anymore difficult, like i said, i did quenkers, while Trevellian did grauls. Its kinda a give&take on which you really do. For endor: less lag(this is a big deal for me, i wish i would have known this earlier, lol) and maybe a little bit more xp, but i wouldnt really know. As for Dantooine: Numerous Player Cities to find trainers and easy to get in a solo group. Really you can probably acheive master swordsman in around the same time, so its really up to you

ya i have to agree, endor is great for xp, but u have to be smart about it while solo, those queen/widow arachnes r nasty! poison can also prove to be deadly here, but when u get like 20 spiders per lair, with 3.4k xp each u will be amazed how fast the xp comes rolling in. Make sure u have some good buffs and armor, brandy, and make sure there is an entertainer in the cantina back at which ever outpost cause u will need to take breaks to get some bf thatstackjs up rather quick fixed. And also check/learn which animals u r killing have what resists to ur blast/kinetic dmg types. And if u r having a lot of trouble hitting somethign curved sword have much better accuracy than hammers do.

Here's what I did. My God, I moved through swordsman fast:

1. Purchased geo core two-handed sword (AP2, good damage, fast). Usable at Two-handed II

2. Got buffed

3. Put on your best composite/wookie armor

4. Go to Dathomir. Stop for baz nitch lairs. Milk 'em dry. Stop for rhoa kwi lairs/spawns. You can take out rancors after a while, but you can get just as much xp taking out baz nitches, rhoa kwis, kamuriths with much less risk.

The other day using this method I maxed out at 900K xp with one buff. Work on getting HeadHit2 first.

Naffies are great Just get a solo group or somethin'.

However, their kinetic resistance slows things down at first.
