Thread: Sweep2 is poor, make it a KD!

Right and since you're at it, give Swordsmen electrical damage, change their area ranges to be longer, make area 3 do Dizzy/Stun, change the bleeds and hits to action targeting. Then give Pikemen long hafted hammers that do blast (hrm that sounds nice irony aside), give them mind hits and bleeds instead of action.


If you want Area KD all you have to do is Dizzy and posture change it stands some chance otherwise pick up Pikeman, get the Defence line for the Area KD and stop wanting to overpower an already powerful profession, but hey if you want to be the next in line TKAs be my guest.

Yea but if u dont have enough skill points to get a dizzy attack what then? Not everyone wants to have 3 Combat professions, if your a doc all u can have is


onecombat profession, all we need is sweep 2 to be a temporary KD otherwise as everyone knows Sweep 2 is basically Sweep 1

well, it makes sence..Weve got all these PC moves and what is PC good for? NADA it is more or less a Junk Move now

No not another KD there already enough profs with KD ingame and although it's nice for pvp I havn't found it necessary in pve till now (and belive it or not there are lots of people around who don't care about the having the latest fancy move for pvp that everyone wants to have). I'd suggest an area stun think this would make sense due to the nature of our weapons (especially the hammer) and would help us (and I prefer every enemy around me making less dmg than having an overpowered move which not only would make pikemen even more less desireable and get us several positions up in the "has to be nerfed" whiner list).

cmon guys, do you think we really need a knockdown as it is? i mean i may have it from master brawler but its not really necessary for us, as it is we can easily solo ns elders and most krayts in the least amount of time any other melee classes can, if we get a kd the nerf cryers will be all over our forums. if you really think a kd is necessary pick up master brawler but to tell you the truth we kill mobs so fast that kd isnt needed, infact i should be dropping master brawler today as it is useless other then that +5 more speed and intimidate 2.

I'd like Sweep 1 and 2to be renamed to "Burst attack"(or something slightly original)and cause blind+stun...Burst attack1 single target Stun+Blind andBurst attack2 Area Blind+Stun.....I've never liked the *triple* posture down attacks inherant to swordsmen, We don't need lunge AND Sweep AND Area Attack all having basicly the same effect.



Area KD is the domain of the pikeman and Carbineer Lets keep it that way.....its like fencers asking for ap2 blast damage and mind dots.

I would just like our damned posture changes to stack properly, if you have a successful posture change on a kneeling enemy, they immediately stand up again, in my estimation forcing someone to prone is just as useful as a KD, they're still on the ground, they still can't attack you at that range, they can't heal damage or states and they don't automatically get up if you just push "up".


Then change the sweeps into a stun or something, I don't needa KD, it's fine where it is in Master Brawler.

Its not just your posture changes, its all posture changes that do this. Its one of the main complaints of Pikemen, in that the already weak polearmhit3 does a posture change automatically, so that if you KD'd them, they get right back up!
