If you have Mindshot1 and/or Mindshot2, you will definitely have an easier time leveling than you might think. It just depends on your patience. The rifle bleeds, as LordSaibot says, will allow you to single pull critters, but that means that you have to wait for the first bleed timer to tick down. Start at 60m or so, Mindshot1 and 2, go peace, then move out to about 100m or so. Pull out the hammer and wait for the critter to aggro on you. When they get there, hit them with 2 bleeds from the hammer (if you have them) then switch to your weapon of choice (or stay with the hammer if you choose) and Headhit them until they drop.

The 100m range is good because this will usually give time for two ticks of the bleed timer so that they are already down a good portion of their mind by the time they get to you. I killed a lot of pickets this way without doctor buffs (and no TK so no Powerboost) and often without any armor.

One warning though: Store your vehicle or make sure it is a safe distance away. When the bleed timer ticks off, there is a good chance they will aggro on your ride, not on you. I have had them run in the opposite direction from where I was standing to go kick the crap out of my bike parked 150m away from the lair. I have also had them run right past me and run another 50 or 60 meters up the hill to attack my ride. So if the bleed time ticks, you see them react, but you do not get the combat queue and the music, it means they have decided you need to walk home and you had better get to them before they get to your ride.

Hi,

I was wondering what were the best skill trees to progress thru (in what order) on the path to becoming a Master Swordsman (not what to hunt that seems to have been well covered)?

Thanks for any help

You probably want to grab the first box of Defense first for Spin Attack 2, AOE attacks make things go much quicker. Get the Techniques line as quick as possible for the speed and Head Hit 3.You'll be able to gradually work up the Finesse tree while working on Techniques and Defense. I did the Offense line last.

I just mastered swords the other day and am now looking to make some money. I need the money to help get me capped in speed. Right now I am master swords, master brawler, medic 2020, and some scout. Where would I go to make some good money or better yet to find +2h speed attachment? I don't know if I can take on higher level creatures because my PH is only around 500 damage max(speed sliced) and I really can't afford a better one, only have 500k credits. My other question is what would bethe best choice to put the rest of mySP's into? Master pikes, 1-handed, or Tk, or a combination of them? I am only PvE.

Well as for your template try getting 2x4x medic for the better heals. Ifyou prefer meditate go with TKAbutI recommend fencer it's nice to have stun damageweapons. Most of the good ca's & aa's drop off the higher end mobs so you'll really need to be able to heal fully in one go. Two-handed attachments are so random it seems that you have a better chance doing the melee speed village quests instead for now (Currently the village is at this phase) then buy the remaining 3 off your galaxies trade forums. With less than 500k you should be able to get a higher damage hammer at least on my server but if not get yourself some +16% max damage pups to help you out. If you want quick credits and some ok loot just kill NS and SMC all day long also I hear factionaly NPC's drop some good stuff.

Okay, so you need AAs or CAs and cant kill tough buggers? Well i know a place where there is a good chance to find 3-6 of those in less than half an hour..And the creatures? I guess they have a 1,5k HAM
Go to Rori, look under the POIs and test them out One of those will be the correct place, im just letting you have an adventure

Okay okay, i admit it, im a newb! But a rare danish newb!

ok i give up, i have gone to almost all the poi's on rori and have cleaned out everyone I went too. I only found 1 aa and it was off a dark trooper. The only ones I found with around 1.5 ham were the corbal gank, but not a single one dropped anything.
