Umm no. the scythe is good for defense stackers since the accuracy on it is much better then a PH and the damage range is tighter so it isn't as effected by mitigation. Scythe for stackers and the PH for pure ranged classes.
You still won't hit me with any consistency usingwhen I macro CoB as a fencer.

It did though...those FS mods really work well. I had a huge increase in speed and accuracy (I'm ex-commando, so you guys don't appreciate accuracy as much as I do)

umm... the total branch of FS melee accuracy gives you +12. It's not like another +12 will make that much a difference if you already have 130-150 in accuracy. Sure you miss somewhat less, but nowhere negligible. As someone else also wrote, you will still miss a lot against swordsman or fencer with CoB.

Nah, executioners hack look cooler in my opinion.
Also one thing to consider is that a scythe drains the mind pool more and a hammer drains the health.
If you ever fight unbuffed you will notice a big difference

There are some rare occassions where a monster or NPC has lower kinetic resiststhan blast - for those I pull out the scythe. Whether it is worth the cash to buy one for these occassionsis another matter that only you can really answer.
Also if you PvP, you will almost certainly want oneto fight certain templatesbecause of the accuracy factor. Hitting other players with a high defense templateis a *lot* harder than hitting any monsters or NPCs - the accuracy will help regardless of your FS status. For some people PvP is not a concern though - again this is a personal call.

hmm, but then again, lairs are bugged with blast damage, you don't get the addition for AP. A kinetic weapon will save you a lot of time on those.
I agree with this one, in pvp unless you have a far better damage range acklay hammer, stick with the scythe for melee fights, and hammer for those with no melee mitigation. the scythe should have a good acc mod on it NOT minus something mod, the scythe then can double up as the magic dizzy status application. the acc mods makes a different. thats all i would add to it but Zarqon is spot on imo
