I agree i would repair the weapon when you get the 25% warning but it is like everything else it'sthe roll of the dice

You have three outcomes

1. it repairs without any blemishes

2. it repairs but the total number is decreaased

3. it fails and becomes worthless

Why do people keep mentioning BE clothes , and Repair mod clothing ?

There is no BE clothing that helps repair

The repair mods i.e skill tapes do not work if the skill tape stickies are to be believed

There is no repair skill in any of the prof trees so anyone can repair as well as anyone else , except for maybee as someone mentioned Jedi tree ? But i havent read on this being successfull....
