YES.
EVen if the offhand weapon does no damage, I would still like to dual wield.
Dual Wielding, Master Ranger with my trusty creature companion. I would LOVE it.

no, any1 thinking so is dumb.
that is defenetily a fencer thing, the fencer can wield a weapon in one of their arms then they can weild ome in their other.
Those who write in and say heavy swordsmen are stronger should go kill themselfes for being stupid.
We heavy swordsmen weild swords with twohands, TWOHANDS. therefore we can use heavier weapons not because we are stronger.
Any1 disagreing can go kill him/her self

Ahem....*Heavy* Swordsman. Being able to dual wield would be like Rifleman wanting to wield a rifle in each hand. If they ever implement this (wouldn't hold your breath) it would be a fencer and maybe pistol weapon skill.

YES! When I bought this game a week ago, I was very dissapointed when I realized that dual-wielding was not possible. Please make it happen ASAP!

I dont know if some clown has already said this. I didnt read all 9 pages of posts but....
YES : There should be a dual wielding class
NO: It shouldnt be the swordsmen.
They should introduce a dual wielding class but have it come after master brawler. Call the class swashbuckler or Weapon Master.
SIDENOTE: Id like to see a Cavalier class. A combination of creature handler and Polearm. Or anything from the Brawler tree.

i say YES becuase you are a heave swordsmna right? then you should be able to carry 2 LIGHTER weapons say 2 swords? or something like that... and NO i dont want to see dual power hammers or anything like that... you could only do it with something that has MODERATE damage so it would equal that of a power hammer or scyth... but yes I AM ALL FOR IT! ::and for you fencers (you will get you spot in the sun, so no need to cry about it here, im shure the dev's have got some killer ideas for fencers... then again, what do the devs know anyways?)

no!
2 Handed Swords are just that, 2 Handed.
Instead of Duel wielding we should get Double Bladed weapons like in KOTOR. Similar to Darth Mauls Double Bladed Saber.

You idiot...You just described Fencer..............**edit** is wrong with you?........
No.
Have you guys ever SEEN or felt a2-handed sword?..........For example, the Nodachi.....OMG that thing is HEAVY....**edit** if you think you're gonna duel wield that baby......Being Japanese, I doubt any of my ancestors "duel-wielded" a Nodachi..which is aJapanese2-handed sword.....to duel wield those 2 it would take brute strength, and idiocy. The good thing aboutthat thing was, because of it's size and weight did tremendous damage when swung right. Thus the reason for the existence of 2handed swords.
btw, Imma SW:G Heavy Swordsman.

Yes.
I consider the best rules for that to be from AD&D 2nd edition.
with both hands on your weapon you do more damage.
with off hand a minus to hit but a few more attacks per round.
dual weilding jedi are in the movies even.
Im just worried that theres going to be too many wankers running around named "Drizzt DoUrden" like in EQ.
