Even though I am a swordsman I think it would be better for fencers but if you won't give it to them then yes give us the two swords...

yes

here's my reason.

2handed swordsman, among them the most famous being the samurai. Samurai carried 2, yes2 sharp weapons on their persons. The traditional Tachi or Katana at around36 inches, andthe Wakizashi at 29 inches. The wakizashi and katana/tachi are worn on the belt, and are often called the daisho. The katana is place with the sharp edge facing down, and the wakizashi above it with the sharp edge facing up. Now normally the wakizashi was used as a backup weapon, but some schools and techniques call for it's use along side the katana.

Fencers do not have a second weapon. Their style are more of an art form. The whole idea of fencing is the one weapon. Small and fast and beautiful by design. Killing a man in a duel with one hand tied behind your back. It was a gentleman's defense. Primary weapon was the rapier. That's it.

Swordsman are, or atleast should be, rare power. There's a famous samurai (Musashi Miyamoto) who lived through over 60 real life/death duels. Some he used a wooden sword, killing with one hit. Power, just rare power.

So i say yes

NO! dont think that way, we need to make swordsman progession betther, and why is the only weapon we can use as a swordsman a Power hammer? we need new weapon and duel-wielding is just a great bonus!

Fencers also fought with daggers(heh, short blades are great for defense)

No.

Swordsman are strong and are able to handle and control one BIG sword. Dual wielding is traditionally a fencer item with a Rapier and and a smaller knife sword thing (And yea that's the techincal term )

It'd be COOL but wouldn't fit the profession.

I want our class to be known for something unique yet distinctive from other classes so they know we are swordsman. Of course having 2 swords in all is tempting, But if we had the alternative of having a sword or other large weapon thats about the size of the player usen it or scales with the player so its matches his hieght. But if all we are offerd are 2 swords then i would have to take, because lets face it, i dont see any other swords comen my way or any one elses at that...

I would give the 2 swords to fencer only if we get ourselgves the huge weapon we all been moaning for but if we wont see them then yes i would take the swords if we will see larger weapons no give the 2 swords to fencer

"So I swoop upon the foe, and I will slay,
I will hew them into pieces, I will dash them into dust;
Like Baal in his strength, on their rearward, lo! I fell,
And I killed them, none escaped me, and I slew, and slew, and slew."

No - good for fencers, we don't have a spare hand to wield anything in.

uh, Ronin is a samurai. It's a masterless samurai, who didn't perform seppeku. Where do you tihnk the lightsaber came from? Fencers? Swordsman?

And if you saw ep2, you should remember Anakin being tossed Obi's weapons and guess what, dual welding them. Didn't help him much, but that's not the point.

Would you call the lightsaber a 1handed, or 2handed weapon? And you've seen them used with one hand. And rumor has it in ep3 there's a droid with 4 arms.... and guess what, he has a lightsaber in each hand.

And for other's info, i'm not a swordsman. I'm a tkm. And i still say yes for you guys.
