I'm on Bria, and I'm a swordsman. I'd love to Join, but I'm already a member of ISF. Could I just, like, be in the guild without literally being in the guild?

The Path of the Blade is a long and hard one. The Path into the Order of the Heron is even longer and harder. Sacrifices must be made in order to achieve greater things. If you do not wish to leave your friends, you dont have to leave your guild. But if they are truly your friends then they will understand that you wish to move on to something different and exciting. Maybe you should ask your current guild if you can just be a "honorary" member.

Okay, this is the final warning.

Today, at 5pm PST will be the first meeting of the Order of the Heron. We will meet at the starport on Lok, and from there go to the volcano to scout a good place to lay the guild hall down.

Sliwo, I sent you 60k creds to help with the guild hall.

Okay, after much searching, and learning about what guild names are allowed. Myself, Sliwo, and Loronar are proud to announce that on 08/31/03 the "Heron Order" was created.

We are at a count of 3 whoo hoo!!. We also have a half way point to the Guild hall on Lok.. The true location of the Guild will never be given out except to those who are a part of the guild. We plan on building Rebel HQ and other things by the PA hall so it is necessary that this remain a secret. However the location of the halfway point can be given to those interested in finding the Heron Order.

We are planning on testing those who are interested in joining the guild for their patience, dedication to the guild, and there etchical values and reactions. The methods will be kept to only those inside of the guild. But to some of you who have been posting here, you have already shown your mettle in these matters.. i.e. Gorecki you are more than welcome to join, just say the word. Also the one who left his entire character on Sunrunner to come to this guild here on Bria... just let us know. And others who have been here since the begining.

For others who are interested and truly dedicated, please email K'ysick, Sliwo, or Loronar.

The Heron Order will be open to those who practice the art of the blade. Those who have not reached novice yet will be allowed, their title will be Unborn. Those who reach novice will be titled "Falcon". From there on up, stature in the guild will be composed of many different things, participtation, voting, and such. The ranks we are considering are "Unborn", "Falcon", "Hawk", "Eagle", and "Heron". Now this is just the temporary idea and not necessarily set in stone since we are missing the opinion of some founders like Sliwo, who I must say has contributed the most to this guild!!!

Well, an apprentice fencer underwent the trial, and passed with flying colors yesterday. He is now the newest member of the Heron Order. He did a great job and we are looking forward to having him in the guild. Very cool guy. His name will be withheld for now since he will be particpating in some of the recruitment. But congratulations to him.
