Well, dont know if anyone else (besides me) is master 2h sword specialist so Ill give some helpful hints and check now and then to answer questsions.

First of all once you achieve the master 2h sword specialization, you also get a new title you can put over your head "Apprentice Heavy Swordsman" - kinda cool huh. You also get the spin attack 1. I gota tell ya from using it that its a nice reward for the hard work you put in up to that point as you can do nice damage to multiple targets if you are surrounded.

Then you still have to achieve 125,000 2h xp before you can become "Novice Swordsman". Most people have been thinkin that once you get master at 2h specialist, you automaticly qualify to start as "novice swordsman" and as stated, thats not the case.

As far as gettin your 2h sword specialization up fast as possible, what i did mostly was solo the hardest stuff I could do to get the most xp per kill. Sounds obvious but I see alot of people gettin in these10person groups tryin to go get xp... The road to master swordsman is a lonely one and you can only do it alone. Sure groups are fun sometimes but you dont get near the xp.

Since I had to have 70,000 xp to go from expert to master, I mostly hunted Scyks on Tatooine. I got 414 xp per kill on those and could kill one solo before I had to rest (this is once you reach expert) and they rarely got me below half health. I basically used intimidate to slow their attacks down then went Berzerk 1 do to massive damage. With the heavy axe i have, at the expert level i was hitting for up to 700 damage. Most of my large hits were around 550 though with a majority of my hits averaging in the 350 ish range (my heavy axe was player made and damage rating is 50 - 151).

Also as a side note, my race is Wookie and i think it helps me have a decent advantage over other races trying to do this proffesion. The reason is this - i notice that I dont get wounds near as easily as other races do in combat. Of course im not up on all of the mechanics on how that works, but I make sure to keep my battle fatigue as low as possible by visiting the cantina alot and also when i do get wounded i go to the medical center long before my wounds are so bad that it will take 5 hours to get healed (why do people let their wounds get that bad?).

Well thats pretty much it... I just looked at this thread and didnt see much help or info to people up and coming in the proffesion so I figured Id give a few words from my own experience. Hope this helps someone and keep up the hard work my fellow heavy swordsmen. Feel free to ask any questions that you feel I could help with and ill try to answer them. If someone has already made novice swordsman, you should come in here and make a posting lettin us know how much better novice swordsman is than master 2h sword specialist

I'm also a Master 2H Sword Spec, I killed durnis, rats, gurracats and panther cubs on corellia, before it was nerfed I usually just used beserk, but after the nerf I found that throwing a wire mesh trap (meele defense down) and using 2H mind hit is much more efficent way to kill. I'm still using a heavy axe, and yes it's a hard lonely road, but it all pays off, plus we get the most badass title in the game! At master sword technique we can get the title "Battlemaster" pretty awsome eh?

Hey Visk, where did you get that Wire Mesh Thing? is that scout? and in order to train do you guys just go on missions to attack Lair and where the NPC animals live?

I'm currently only an ADVANCED 2H but i wanna be a master swordsman.

Yeah, it's a scouting thing and you get it at novice scout, you have to craft them with a General Crafting Tool, and yes, I got my training money from running missions.

Hey all. Another Apprentice Heavy Swordsman here. Yeah you are right Gorrbacca - the road of a swordsman is lonely indeed, as I imagine the road of any melee in this game. Pairing up your swordsman skills with a scout is a great idea. Between trapmaking and damage bonus to animals and camp creation you dont have to leave the wilderness much. The thing that frustrates me is the armor. Currently wearing full suit of Mabari (I'm a human)and while the damage absorbsion is amazing - the armor falls apart really quick. Trying to repair is doesnt get good results at least for me, I destroy the armor more often or not. Does it matter who repairs it? Let's keep tips and tricks coming in theis thread... Ok - I have 90k xp to go for Novice - better get to it.

Also, once you get to Master 2H Sword Spec, you can make really easy money I've found, go to the destroy mission screen and look for low level missions like vrelts, paralopes and durnis, they usually pay about 1200, get two of them, then just run right up to the lair and destroy it and you can usually kill all the mobs with just one or two 2H Spin attacks.

I just hit Novice Swordsman last night, 2H Hit II is cool, but I can't wait for 2H Mind Hit II

No, I mean... when do you get Mind Hit I? In the Prima Guide it says you get Mind Hit II at Master Swordsman, but it never mentions when you get Mind Hit I... and I can't find it on the skilltree in game either. Does it exist?

So, I'll probably never get it then. 2H Sword was just going to be my backup of my Rifle... though, it may turn out to be rather nice primary instead.
