Which one is better killing creatures like Rancors, Krayts Etc. I can only master 1 cause i am a hunter so which one would be best.

Probably Swords especialy if you can get ahold of speed tapes. Ive been able to outdamage TKMs (more than 1) on several occasions. TKM is a very strong professions and if you are looking for something you could pvp and pve with that might be the easier way to go. IMO its a real toss up between swords and rifles as to wich one is the king of PVE.

As a master I kill Rancors in 3 or 4 mind smashes. When I use Teras Kasi, its a long spiral of Ua3 before those things fall. We are the kings of PvE, that should answer any question you have on mobs.

Having been both TKA & Swordsman Master, Swordsman rules the roost

swordsman is the king of PvE. IF a rifleman has the mob go melee on them they're screwed.

TKM is nice but the fact that they only do kinetic damage is what puts Swordsman in the lead when comparing the two professions.

I was just wondering if you ask the same question in the TK forum, what the answer would be lol
but I agree with all fellow swordsmen, having been both TKA and Master Swordsman, there is no way you could persuade me to give up Swords to take up TK again. That's not to say I didn't like TK, I enjoyed it very much, but that was in the days before I discovered the sweet swing of the scythe, and the peerless ping of the power hammer

I've been a TKM for months now and have recently started the grind to Master Swordsman as well. One of my favorite activiteis is hunting night sisters.Even though I haven't reached master, I find myself using my power hammer to deal out damage to the ns. Between blast damage and HeadHit3, they go down fairly quickly.
I'd imagine the same will be true for other pve beasties.

well the only thing that could out dmg a swordsman would be rifleman or a really good pikeman, and that on only some of the mobs, a rifleman will beat us 95% but pike will only win vs acklay and super battle droids.

It's been said before, but it's worth saying again: Master Swordman = king of PvE.

If swordsman is the king of pve. Why do I find myself doing 2-3x the damage with tk and faster?
I got two handed to grind with tk for FS xp. Swordsman is just to damn slow period. You shouldn't need 50 mil in frickin attachments to be that fast.
Lets see i hit anwhere from 900-3k with my 3.9 speed 480 dmg PH every 2.5 seconds or so. With vks i hit over 2k a second standing and when kd i can get 3.5-4k dmg on stuff.
Which has the higher dot?
Now granted you have other damage types such as blast which helps. I still findmyself doing better with tk on NS Stalkers/Sent/Spellweavers/Protectors etc.

Point being you can't kill Elders and there lies your odds for best loot. Meaning we are best!
