Thread: My Swordsman pvp build.

I mostly never post on the swordsman forums so i don't believe many here know who i am. But i recently decided to drop swordsman because i have been one since april last year and pvped with it since. The absolutely best build i found for pvp and especially taking out Jedi was:
Zabrak character: Master brawler and swordsman, 0040 pistoleer, 0040 fencer, 0040 carbineer and novice TKA.
Most people believe the cap to counter attack is 125...that is wrong, believe me i tried everything when it came to defences and this build by far exceeded whatever defences any other build offered.
With the proper SEAs you are never dizzied, stunned or blinded. Use center of being and a pikatta pie and you will be one tough nut to crack.
I can foresee a lot of people commenting about the 40ish melee and ranged defence. That doesn't matter at all, counter attack more than makes up for the lack of melee and ranged defence.

I later dropped it to 0020 carbines and 0442 marksman to be a tumble monkey for my alt but it was still pretty useful.

forget the carbineer side of ur template totally mate its uneeded, focus on getting ur defenses high as possible instead.
with regards to counterattack achive 125 cap, use ur foods(pie), cob macro, acc foods,steaks, a good PSG,be acc capped with tapes too, and ur a pvp god.
the state pvp is at now, i have a lovely 415min hammer for breaking there mitigation
but otherwise my 375-944 does good work, specially jedi haha, its evil sometimes how much it hurts them 
also zabrak is an excellent choice for this template, see if u get caught out by annoying poison users, equilibrium is a gem 
(the times i have let them stack there poisons , while ijust bashthem, and then used equilbrium to there dismay is quite funny)
with regards to the melee/ranged def, the key is to achieve at least +25 on each....then it actually doesnt matter... let me explain further, in testing i find that the first +25 of these defenses makes the BIGGEST difference on what kind of dmg u take, each +10 for example after +25 isnt as effective in lowering the dmg taken as that first +25 is, ur skill points cud be spent elsewhere, maybe drop the counterattack side, and get ranged mit 3(so the riflers dont catch u out

my personal exact template btw is 0440 fencer, master brawler, master swords, medic 2200, pikemen 0040, and 5 full force trees(luck, ranged def, mel def, melee speed, melee acc)

I've been experimenting with a few templates, nothing excites me as Sword did.
I'm currently M. Brawler, M. Pike, TK 4xx4, Fencer 14xx, Medic 4x4x, Combat Prowess xx44. it caps me on Melee def with high Def vs. states.
I am thinking of redoing it so I have sword instead of Pikeman.

yeh i tried swords/pikes for a while, thought it was cool, but in the end i still preferred my beloved hammer 
i only went pikes cuz i got pisssed with these dot whores.

Trust me, Zhorx knows what hes talking about. The caps for counterattack IS a lie. With Carbineer he was 3x harder to hit than he was when his ranged and melee were "capped". It's been tested, and trust me, it's true.

The build i posted above in my original postwas far superior to getting 0004 TKA..

Damage taken? Melee and raged defence? I hope you mean the times you get hit...
I don't really need advice on how to pvp, i have been pvping with swordsman since april of last year, and beenquite sucessful at it as well.
Believe me i tried EVERYTHING i couldimagine during those 9 months, and this build was the best by far.

Thanks Zo'rin. The Wanderhome people who have seen it know how well it works, just have to convince the "125 is cap"-heathens.

hmm, u see i once suggested this counterattack tactic, however i was told it doesnt work neither, now u make me wanna change my template lol
